expertman: In your case, just write about projects you are currently handling in your office. Tell about your family. And make it seem how much you enjoy your job, life and family in Nigeria and cant wait to get back to it after your vacation. For Study Permit applicants: Write about how you are looking forward to a well deserved promotion (if applicable...do not lie!)and how your proposed program will ensure you a greater career advancement and a successful career back at home (Your country). Or If you are the first son, spell it out and say how much family responsibilities you have back in your country and round up with how all these things will eliminate the intention of staying back after studies. Abeg dont copy word to word o! Cus i know say some people sabi how to 'mumu copy'...This is only a little guide and should be used as it applies to your case! UDO! 5 Likes |

Hello guys, I am a new user and I've been following this thread for the past 7 weeks as a guest. I'm from Ghana and I found this website unfortunately after submission. I picked up my passport some days ago and it was a refusal and I've read so many important things I could have done differently with my application. Although it seems the requirements for Nigeria is much different than ours, I would like to provide details for my refusal and see how best I can solve them. 1. The VO didn't think I would leave at the end of my stay. I've never been refused a visa and I've traveled to the UK and US before. All the same I need to do more in convincing he or she of my reasons for going and leaving. I did realize maybe attaching something like a property document might have saved me from that. I must mention that all my family members are in the UK. 2. The VO also thought I didn't have sufficient funds. My uncle is my sponsor and the bank statement had a closing balance of 60,000USD for a 5 month period. My annual tuition with insurance and transport card inclusive summed up to about $9,000 and yearly housing at $5,000. That's 14,000CAD a year plus an extra 10,000CAD is 24,000. Even that times two is 48,000CAD. I'm sure I'm missing something that someone here can spot and offer some advice on how to go about it and repackage my application. Thanks 2 Likes |
