The online world have always been so fascinating, right from the time I got to know what it's all about, till now. I have always wonder, how do these web pages come to be? Who posted them? That was me many many years ago. I think I once tried opening my own page, but every tutorial I came across the web made every process look like rocket science.

As time pass, everything was becoming plain and I was able to comprehend. Although there were few stuffs that confuses me, especially when it comes to design, SEO and media upload. Mind you, that was years ago. My curiosity was leading me to places I never knew exist.. I was learning, trying to cover every spheres of the internet.

Last 2 years, after many years of studying how stuffs work in the online world, I decided to create my first blog on blogger. Entertainment niche was booming and I dived into the wagon without a survey or the usual roadmap that leads to success. Not only was it the most terrible mistake ever, it cost me my talent and joy. I wasn't putting my writing skills to use, lifting post and images from other sites to mine made me look so horrible.

Within 3 months, I was forced to push the delete button cause I was fed up. I wasn't after the money like most bloggers, I was after having a page I could call mine on web. Not getting readers, views and comments made it evident that I was exhausting precious time.

Later on, I lunched another site on WordPress. It was a personal blog and writing my own content made me fulfilled. I was exploring sides of me that haven't been known. I was getting views, comments and encouraging mails from most of my readers. For the first time in life, I had a site that was engaging and able to put a smile on my face. Yet, unfulfillment was lacking. I wanted to touch life more differently. I needed an impact that could be so enormous that it can stick into the sand of time.

Being in the department of entrepreneurship, I saw an opportunity. What if I create contents about entrepreneurship? Entrepreneurship is no doubt an untapped goldmine as long as Nigeria is concerned. For the first time in my life, I got serious. I was able to bring out huge bucks to register and host a domain. Unlike the ME I know. I think I saw a serious business man in action.

The web designer that I contacted to help out was a disaster. Maybe cause the fee was so little. I never knew I could design a blog and tweak around a few things. But I did.. in fact, I had to uninstall the theme he used and start afresh. This made me regret looking for a web designer in the first place, cause I did the who designing myself and frankly, I was satisfied.

Blogging with my tablet have been fun.. it's been a week since it went live and I keep exploring round WordPress, to know what works and what doesn't. Just today, I thought about getting a logo.. I really don't have the cash to contact a logo designer so I have to do it myself. Surprisedly, the logo I created using my tablet turned out looking good. That doesn't mean I won't get a professional looking logo though.

Many of you who have visited EntMirror might think I'm so after the money because of the konga Ad. That's really not true. Ads can add beauty to a blog design. I needed that awesome experience that users feel, the worst is having an overwhelming ads at every platform, screaming to be clicked. That is definitely a No No for me..

Right now, I have a few articles published. Will be going for an interview tomorrow. Met an entrepreneurial professor and I offered to conduct an interview, unexpectedly, he agreed.

I'm not yet a terrific writer, but as I continue on this part, I know I will improve.

My post schedule is going to be 1 post per day. To do that, I should be able to write at least, 3 articles per day cause there are days I won't be free cause of school.

Just this morning, I was wondering If sharing my articles on nairaland can hurt my page rank. Many webmasters might say no, but I think otherwise due to my previous experience. Any post shared on NL tend to rank faster in Google Search than the original site it was lifted from. How then can I drive traffic from NL?

I want to have as many contents as possible. Not just any article, one that's able to add value to my readers. I'm seeing tremendous improvement on my page views.

My next target is getting backlinks and I can only do that by guest posting on blogs within my niche. I contacted one, wrote an amazing mail just to have him accept my proposal. After asking for my site link, he didn't reach back to me again.

Maybe because my site isn't well designed, or maybe cause I'm still new. I will keep trying..

I noticed that copying articles to NL do hurt the page rank of my blog, so I stopped.
