I'm currently on those o, as for the retroverted uterus , it actually has a very sharp u curve , which is what the ivf doctors were complaining about ... I'm just surprised their heads didn't tell them its a retroverted uterus , they just kept poking until blood started coming out .the retroverted uterus is actually very curved not like the other mild cases

There is nothing wrong with retroverted uterus. U can conceive with that. My result changed from retroverted to anteverted uterus and I was told womb position can change at intervals.

I will advise you get a second opinion on the bilateral tubal blockage since you are not convinced on this result. U can follow other mamas remedy here which include the Chinese teas(yimu cao) , seraptase enzyme,castor oil massage , clean point tampoon etc. It has been discussed severally on the thread.

Because I am using clean point. Last time I didn't douche and one day after removal had sex, needless to say my husband was disgusted as what came out. Moreover it's written to douche after it so freed bacteria doesn't go reattach

i have even decided not to consult doctors again , most of them don't even know jack...just to collect money

Don't think retroverted is a problem. My last transvirginal scan said acutely retroverted uterus and I have gotten pregnant every time I tried.

tvs shud be done for every clomid cycle, bodies differ and change as well, triggering an underdeveloped egg is a waste of time and money.
the tvs is to confirm that the egg is .>16mm, some docs choose .>18mm, some even >20mm, unless u have a short cycle ,24days...and he has tracked n monitored you extensivesly, triggering on cd is a big no no!!!

I will like to ask some few questions. I am new here and I have been ttc for a while now. I had ovarian cyst operation in 2008 and was never told what type of cyst it was but the operation was successful. My period has been monthly tough sometimes it's 31 days, 32, 29, 30 or even 34 days but it comes . I also know I suffered painful urination from my early teenage years ( I didn't even know what sex was then ) till just recently it stopped. I don't know if that is PID. So I decided to use the herbal tampons and nothing came out ( just some white tissue like stuff , very very small though) I used the tampons cos I felt I may have blocked tubes. Pls mamas, what do u suggest for me. I am a novice and will really love to conceive. Also, I don't even know if it's possible to have menstruation without ovulation cos I have been using opk and all I get is the faint line which is negative according to the opk sticks . Pls help a desperate mama.

Retroverted uterus are those that do not have big bumps during their pregnancy
They are said to carry their children in their waist and not belly.
It should never prevent pregnancy.

@pampharez...relax my dear sister. There is nothing wrong with retroverted uterus...I have conceived with it as well as many other mamas. Try the doggy style for better results during ovulation period . . It is sweet and effective too. I wish you well.

Sorry, I don't have a response to the other questions. But for cervical mucus, I never saw any reasonable amount before I got pregnant. Infact, it was after I got pregnant that I saw discharge.

Let me try and answer from my own little knowledge.
Mama, calm down, God is in control.
Register with a good gyne and work with him.
But if you want to run your thing by yourself, you need to
run a HVS (high virg.inal swab) a pap smear test for infection?
After that if you have no preexisting infection, you need to run a series of TVS +follicular tracking) during the period you would normally ovulate to see if you actually do ovulate. But if there is infection, you need to treat it asap (work with your Dr), as it is one of the many causes of unexplained infertility. And the painful urination you used to have may had been indicative of PID (thank God it has stopped)
Next if you are up to it, and after you are clear, you have no infection, then go for HSG to know the exact status of your tubes and ovaries.
Also run a hormone profile. All these will give you an idea of where you stand, and how to get ready for warfare.
Don't worry. Your babies are here.

Why don't you run a comprehensive test to know if you have any cause for concern. Check your hormones and thyroid function, if u are brave enough,add hsg.
Transvaginal scan has been my go to for confirmation of ovulation.
Finally, you can try adding evening primrose oil to what you are taking if you are concerned about CM.

For mamas searching for their period: if you're sure you're not pregnant, try drinking zobo boiled with pineapple peels, NO sugar/artificial sweetners/ satchet stuff. Instead mix the already prepared zobo with enough honey and blended pineapple (the flesh and core). I drank it at night and my period came the next morning. If you try that and it doesn't work, do some serious jigi-jigi(sex). It triggers period for me.

Zobo, pineapple and honey are said to cause miscarriage in pregnant women, so it makes sense that it can cause you to have a period. So I try not to take the stuff in my 2-week wait.

Not necessarily. It definitely will not work for everyone. Besides I had a lot and it was about the time my period was due. It likes to delay but zobo induced it.

Again some pregnant women take zobo without experiencing any side effects. However it is advised that pregnant women avoid it as it causes the womb to contract.

From d little l know Abt OPKs, D darker line close to d calibrated end is its standard marker ie d line u use in comparing to ur own test line. Most cheap OPKs operate on d principle that ur test line should be d same or almost d same ( d darker d better). Just like pt strips. So d faint line signifies d presence of d hormone but in minute qty and doesn't guarantee ovulation. expensive digital ones like clear blue spells ur result for u wit a baby smiley
