SE is actually the smallest by land area of the 6 geopolitical zones, even smaller than SS. The whole SE is approx the same size as Oyo state

Exactly. No beefing!
The entire SE is about 24000square miles while Niger State alone has 69,000.
That's the truth.

SE is so small that land is so valuable.
What they can and should do with the little space holding 30m people is a different issue.

During El Rufai's time, Igbos owned 70% of all houses in Abuja alone

Before I was born, they have been talking about "peace in Nigeria" and even till now, that peace is nowhere to be found. He is speaking perhaps because he is benefiting tremendously from the igbos in one way or the other and he knows if the leave, he would be frustrated. Does the Fulani herdsmen understand the language of "peace" and the useless phrase "One Nigeria"?

Please enough of this story, anyone whose investment is more important than his own life should remain in the North. Those who are ready to go would go. As simple as that!!!

The value of oil wells owned by one northerners in the South east can buy ten times the lands in question.

For you to use the term host shows we only pay lip service when we say one Nigeria and refer to the constitution

The truth is that we are too diverse to be one country... You have to divide the country first before issuing any threats
Don't expect people to resign their jobs and close their shops then go back to nothing

It's common sense

that's the same thing we are all saying! we are not one that's exactly why we told you to go. what are you waiting for?

we dominate every where we go cool cool cool

south korea is just like Niger state ...but is Nigeria more developed dan them ....no

That's is why those agitating should do so, diplomatically. You don't expect a war and still keep ur investment and land in the north, whoever tries that, should just say his last prayer

Simple mathematics. When there are world standard infrastructural development, Fairness, Justice and Food, no one will have time for fermenting trouble. What we are experiencing is that there are too many able bodies available for chaos simply because they are jobless, underdeveloped and poverty stricken which makes them a weapon for our selfish leaders. May God save us

Lagos with 3000km landmass is containing over 20 million people, Abia with 6000 can contain double of what lagos is containing..
So, Landmass is not a problem.
And South East is not Igbo land but Part of Igbo Land.

The former governor is right. Why should some people be made to abandon investments and other important properties, simply because some people from their tribe are agitating for a Republic whose actualization they're probably not interested in? How can they put all Igbos into such a tiny box? Even, IPOB, in its letter to the UN pointed out that if they're going to hold all South Easterners responsible for IPOB's actions, all Northerners must equally be held responsible for the carnage being wrought by Boko Haram.

No one should support such cruel injustice.

When we went to the North, did we carry land on our head to the North

Likewise shall we leave them when we return back
There is no WE in this matter, you cannot speak for the INDIVIDUALS who own land there. Do you as a PERSON own any land in the north?

Just because the stat is against you now.
If you are intelligent I don't need to remind you that IGR doesn't measure economy, CBN doesn't keep records of IGR, IGR figures are quoted by state governors no federal institutions monitor state IGR, you can choose to tax business operators in your domain higher, I may choose and do opposite, it doesn't measure economy activities of a state, high tax kill business, although state make more money, low taxes to business operators encourage investors most especially locals also affect state govt, they can choose to quote any figures they like, they can choose not to, just like Anambra last year didn't publish their IGR, same with Ebonyi last two years, no where in constitution it's mandatory that state most declare their IGR.

Kirigidi:

Is "Nigeria" more diverse than "America [USA]" which has mixed population of white, black, yellow and coloured people with different ethnic, linguistic and religious background?

The difference is despite the diversity, every American is treated fairly majority of the time (can't say all the time with the recent assaults on blacks).

However in Nigeria, one group of people carry out mayhem and senseless killings and the government keeps mute as it is in full support.

Being part of a country is not requirement for acquisition property. Igbos can go and still retain there property in the north. Even Kwankwaso had property in Dubai and other part of the world. His comment is insulting.

Ownership of property by foreigners is not a right anywhere in the world. It is ignorance of facts like this that make other tribes kick your people around like sagged testicles.
