Meenaj:Not a Biafran, Kwankwaso, you are selfish and wicked, we won't agree, you said, who are the we? Insult. Northerners wants perpetually to lord it on the southerners. You are not sincere on unity becos your fulani herdsmen family is at War with none fulanis and your likes are happy with their killing spree as none of you power drunk northerners has deemed it right to arrest them. Unity indeed. The northerners are wiser that is why their investment in the east is 20% while the igbos are very foolish for leaving bear the east by investing a whooping 80% in the north which has made them a permanant slaves to the north for life as you have insinuated becos they can't leave, what a shame to the igbos. Anyway, the igbos themselves have said they won't leave their 4trillion investment in the north thereby stupidly playing into the hands of kwankwaso and his group. |

PDJT: Apple is not wealthier than Nigeria. Nigeria's GDP is close to $1 trillion. Nigeria's total asset is many folds that. Israel does not produce more food than Nigeria, but Israel is more self sufficient than Nigeria. With little ego massaging, you people simply just go off grid. You call people parasites, yet they are the ones HOSTING you. Ironic isn't it? Regional contributions to national coffers, you are about the least. IGR for self sufficiency, you are about the least, save for war ravaged NE. Emotional beings. |

rano1: All these northern Biafran apologists are failing to see the big picture beyond their immediate ambition; they are failing to see that the youths are not with them this time; Igbo resentment caused by sustained caustic insults and abuses now runs deep; the average northerner is already fed up and no longer wants to share the same nationality with Igbos again. El Rufai, Kwankwaso and the others are taking their political correctness too far and should be careful before it backfires and the youths turn on them; even the Igbo leaders in the ongoing fence mending attempt have not gone out to categorically condemn or dissociate themselves from the uncharitable hate speeches and actions of their youths; they are instead speaking from both sides of their mouths and indirectly not shifting ground - our leaders should know better than to be falling over backwards to accommodate the instigators of the problem or they themselves be consumed. I also stand with the Arewa Youths and the Quit notice - Igbos should get out of the north. 2 Likes

Why are Nigerians so afraid for Igbos to go? Why do yorubas say dat if Igbos leave, dey wil leave too? Are Igbos realy the people holding Nigeria together? Is it true dat dia will be no Nigeria without Igbos? Why cant Hausas,Fulanis and Yorubas live as one Nigeria without the Igbos? 4 Likes |

We are all first and foremost Nigerians, before which ever nomenclature we desire to be referred by. No one is a biafran (yet) SO PLS Don't YOU ROCK My BOAT. It not compulsory for the igbos to remai in Nigeria, but they should seek constitutional means to leave, Not by calling Nigeria and Nigerians Names. As at today, No issue regarding or bordering Nigeria's indivisibility can be brought to the national assembly. Igbos who want to leave Nigeria or Nigerians who want Igbos to leave should seek for the amendment first before they loud their agitation. While Igbos are at it, they should setle their matter with their Neighbours in the Niger Delta whom have stated position of having nothing to do with the new agitation. Let them resolve issues of whether we are going to have a bight of Benin or bight of Biafra. Let the Igbos consider the fact that if there must be a Biafra, it most likely will be to Nigeria as Swaziland is to South Africa (a small enclave inside Nigeria). If igbos are leaving because they are responding to the embers of hate someone is fanning then a Sudan/South Sudan Scenario awaits us, ie if igbos are able too seceed peacefully. On the other hand if the opposite is the case and we are to take the words of Nnandi Kanu literally and the resent response of some Northern elements (not youth), then God help us all. I didn't experience the civil war. I don't want to recall who was wrong or who was right. History recalls that there was a lot of suffering and agony especially on the part of Biafra. This cannot be allowed to repeat itself. Who ever feel that someone is merginalizing him or taking undue advantage or for any reason, be it just or unjust and decides to leave, has right to do so and should be accorded right to do so only if he seeks appropriate means. |

Adebowale89: Most of the Igbos who have properties outside of Igboland also have properties in their villages/towns. An Igbo man living in a shack in Lagos will send money home to build a mansion in his village. This is an exaggeration but it's rooted in truth. 3 Likes |
