I totally disagree with you abt d Usman Dan fodio form of Islam been radical here... I have already corrected fresh on dat. The Usman Dan fodio Islam is what most yorubas practice today.

Kk.
Buh if the Danfodio kind of islam was the yoruba kind of islam, why did Danfodio still go ahead to kill all the hausa sarkis claiming that they were mixing paganism with islam? Danfodio radically advocated for the purification of northern islam from every form of paganism.
This was never the case in yoruba land where paganism was allowed to co-exist with islam

**** where then did this islamic extremism come from to hausa land?

To you this is groundbreaking, but to Nigeria it is not new,

Nigeria have done this as far back as 1972 in university of ibadan, before Africa got accustomed to the Internet,

It took Kenya about almost 50 doctors to perform this, for about 23 hours and you don't want us to hear a word, when that of University of maiduguri performed same feet for just 12 hours by a couple of doctors in 2011,
Did you see Nigerians jumping like monkeys in the safari?

Mind you the twins shared vital organs too including liver, intestines, and so on,

As a matter of fact apart from this being done in 1972 in ibadan,

Other institutions in enugu, Lagos, etc have done these feet,

In health Nigeria beats Kenya hands down

https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/sunday/index.php/feature/3134-inside-unimaids-breakthrough-with-conjoined-twins-surgery

Initially, there were rumours in the town that only one of the twins would survive because of the complexity of the situation. But after meticulous team work and endless prayers from well-wishers, the process turned out to be a huge success.Probably that was why all the doctors were elated, including dozens of medical students who watched the “miracle” via a television.
“We have succeeded in separating the two male conjoined twins,” the lead surgeon, Dr Auwal Abubakar said to us.
According to him, “in medical terms, we call their situation iskiophagus (joined at the pelvis). This type of conjunction is the most complex, because their lives were conjoined. Both of them have a small intestine, but shared one single large intestine,” Dr Abubakar said.
“We are grateful to God for making this possible…we are really grateful,” he said, admitting that the credit goes to many people.
According to him “This is not only pediatric surgery, it is a team work. We had pre - surgery conferences together with other specialists, and discussed several investigations. Apart from the liver that was conjoined, we had predicted almost all the abnormalities we found in the babies.
“Plastic and reconstructive surgeons played vital roles in reconstruction. Orthopedic surgeons helped us in separating the bones, theatre nurses also assisted in their own field. anathesialogist kept the babies alive and asleep for close to thirteen hours. Our engineers in the hospital contributed immensely, because they placed us on generator and we didn’t have power failure,” Dr Auwal remaked.
He also gave credit to the medical students in the hospital. “About nine of them donated the blood facilityused for the operation.”
He said the operation took a long time because of the complications inherent in the systems of the babies. “We had to divide the large intestine into two… we also separated the intestine of the first baby, and joined it with the distal part of the bowel that goes into the anus. We then used the other half of the large intestine to construct an anus for the second baby. The process was really complicated,” the surgeon added.
He said as a result of the amendments made in the body of the twins, one of the three legs which they were delivered with, had been severed and they would now have one leg each, and that one of them will grow up as a female.
“The two babies shared a single male external genital; as such we left the genital to one of them, because it is much easier to construct a female external genital than that of male. We have actually explained this to the parents, and we are going to raise one of the babies as a female,” he said.
Asked whether Hussain whose name will be changed to Hussaina (female) will give birth later in life, Dr Auwal said no. “She will function normally, but will not reproduce, because there are no reproductive organs, we have removed the testicles.”
He said the children will be kept in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for convalescence. “This is not the last procedure of the operation. We would have to do other things to tidy up other problems. We would much later go into the phase of rehabilitation, like getting them an artificial limb,” he said.
He said this is the second time that this type of operation was done in Nigeria. “The first was in Ibadan in 1972, but the conjoined twins had four legs. Many other pediatric centers in Zaria, Ibadan, Ife, Enugu and other places, had separated other types of conjoined twins, but this is the second time that this particular type has been done,” Dr Auwal revealed.
Asked about the factors responsible for giving birth to conjoined twins, Dr Auwal smiled. “Well, nobody will really tell you the cause of giving birth to conjoined twins, but the case is more common in Africa and Asia. Usually when you have twins, they split into two during their formation, but this one did not.”
“It was one of our students who was then in Ningi that saw the mother with the children, and recognized the deformity early. He immediately referred them to us and contacted me for discussion.
“We deliberately delayed the operation because the chance of survival if you separate them testicles early is 20 per cent and if done it at that (about one year old) they have 80 per cent chance of survival. This is because, if the conjoined twins are bigger, they would be able to tolerate the anesthesia better, and will stand post operation stress. Their tissues would be bigger, and you will be able to identify them much easier,” Dr Auwal said.
He praised the management of the hospital for giving all the desired support. “The management of UMTH had waived all the medical bills of the twins because of the status of the parents. There is no way they could foot the bills of the operation, including all the tests and examinations,” he said.
Dr Auwal said the efforts put in by all who took part in the operation will not be in vain. “We think they have good chances of survival even though this is not the last of the procedures of the operation. We would have to do other things to tidy up other problems, because…there similar reported cases around the world and the children are doing very well,” he said.
He assured that if given the necessary support, doctors at the hospital have the potentials of doing even more complex operations in the future.
Binta, the mother of the twins, said the separation of the twins was the greatest thing that happened to her, and expressed gratitude to God. “When they were ‘gummed’ together, managing their life was very difficult. They had only one anus and you cannot tell who wants to excrete.
“Sometimes one will like to sleep and the other might not be in the mood to sleep. I therefore have to cajole all of them to sleep…it was really an experience that I will live to remember,” she said.
Binta said she had given birth five times and had never gone to hospital for ante natal care. “I gave birth to all of them at home, through the help of local birth attendants,” she said.
Her husband, Isa, said he never thought his twins will have a semblance of normal life. “As a poor man, it was really, very tasking taking care of the twins. The only big support we got was from a former chairman of Ningi local government area, who gave us N50,000 to buy food for the kids,” he said.
Isa said since that time, there was no tangible financial assistance, and therefore called on well meaning Nigerians to help them.
“The parents really need help because they would remain in the hospital with the separated twins for some time, and you know what this means,” a nurse at UMTH observed.
For me, the adventure at the operation theatre was a worthwhile and unforgettable experience. We watched and took pictures as doctors pierced and stitched the babies. “Today, you too (journalists) are honorary doctors,” one of the surgeons humoured as we walked out of the operation theatre.
Two days after the operation, the same doctor called and joyfully remarked “The twins are in stable condition, we are pleased with what is happening,” he said.

In health?? Kenyans have along life expectancy than Nigerians almost 10 years difference.

In health care facilities I believe Nigeria is a joke.

If the school is in Addis, then those Oromos will learn all subjects until 6 Grade using Amhargn and also take independent Amhargn and English subject.

Amharanizition process through Ethiopia is only 90-100 years, so it isn't that long.

Since Amhargn is a basic need to interact with other ethnicities and engage in Addis and other cities, some Oromos and other peoples known Amhargn. They speak their respective languages when they are in their region and with their fellow same ethnic group.

Most of the people in rural areas in all corners of the country don't know Amhargn very much, because they mostly interact with their fellow ethnic groups.

Some of them may use Amhargn for public purposes with other ethnicities and Oromo language during with those who know it. Others may only use Oromo language if they live in rural areas. I've came across with some Oromos in rural areas who know not even a single Amhargn word.

The official language of the Federal Gov't is Amhargn.

What I mainly meant by Amharanizition process is promoting Amhara culture in the re-conquered areas and becoming it the official culture of Ethiopia. If a person with other backgrounds want to be a student, go to Hospital, want to be a Christian, go to court or employed in Gov't and Military, he/she must speak Amhargn. Those that want to be identified as an Amhara can join, but majority of the Oromos and others refused. The Amharas saw them inferior if they aren't Amharas, but they weren't forced to be Amhara.

And also, since the Amhara domination did only last for 90-100 in all Ethiopia, many Oromos and others didn't lost their identities and those who lost are trying to regain it.

Okay. Nice explanation.

genieluv:
**** what language is currently the closest to Agew?
Other Cushitic languages.

genieluv:
How similar is Agew language to present day Habesha languages?
Amhargn is relatively similar with Agew languages compared to other Habesha languages, since most of it's Cushitic characteristics is from Agew. Amhargn grammar structure is completely Cushitic-Omotic, but it's still a Semitic language. By the way, Amhargn is the least Semitic language in the world to show Semitic behaviors. Amhargn is also more similar with Argobbagn(Semitic language) than any other languages.

Tigragn is also affected by Agew languages, but not like other Cushitic languages like Beja, Shano and Afar.

Other Semitic Habesha languages like Guragegn and Harargn has also been affected by Agew languages at a certain extent.

Geez language(Semitic) is one of the many mother languages of Amhargn, Tigragn, Guragegn and Harargn. It has also been affected by Agew languages.

genieluv:
also seems like the Agew are 100% rural?
No, it isn't. Even the place in the video is a city/town. It's weird, but it's. There are also other cities/towns in other Agew areas of Agew Awi and Quara.

I would guess 15-20% urban and 80-85% rural in all Agew areas.

genieluv:
there still elements of Agew culture in present day Habesha culture?
Yes, there is. For example, our national food "Injera" was first invented by the Agews and later it was shared to Abyssinians and other Ethiopians. The Ashenda festival I mentioned it to you previously was also invented by Agews and shared to the Tigrays. I'm sure there are also others they shared to Habeshas, because large percentage of Habeshas DNA is Agew.

genieluv:
>>> The church looks beautiful wow. Buh am a bit confused here undecided How can the church be 2,000 years old? When did christianity reach Ethiopia?
No, it was built in the early years of the 13th century AD.

The Portuguese had seen it in the 16th century, but when more Europeans started to see it in the 19th and 20th century, those racist Europeans said, how can this unique architectural Churches be built by black Africans? No, either it must be built by Egypt-Syrians or Ethiopians aren't black Africans, but a black Hamitic-Semitic mixs Caucasian.
You see how they degrade Africans. They forgot they were savages living in caves when much of Africans were in great civilizations.

Very beautiful!
1st and 3rd look they are siblings.
I understood that northerners are majority Muslim and are relatively lighter than the southerners.

You also northern and looks beautiful by the way wink

Well northern nigeria is very big, the core-northern parts are overwhemingly muslim while the central northern parts are like a 50/50 or slighlty christian dominated.

***** Would i really say northerners r relatively lighter than the southerners?
Well, among the poorer people, i would say northerners r darker cos the heat of the sun is more extreme in the north n the humidity is lower. So, poorer northerners who are mostly farmers n till the ground day n night under this scorching sun tend to be darker.

However, among the educated rich n middleclass population, i'd say northerners tend to be lighter (especially the women), cos due to the conservative nature of northerners, the women do not really hussle or work hard unlike most southern women who work harder n equally provide for their families almost as much as their men.
So, rich northern women are mostly pampered n always stay indoors, n when they manage to come outside, you see them looking like this.

Too many words empty points. I told you what happened at the University of Nairobi was a first in SSA outside SA. Stop giving me mere separations that have been happening in Kenya since the 60s.

and yet they win world beauty pageants, whatever happened to your own feminine women?

Nigerian men will chase anything with a foreign passport.

How many pageants? You people are still talking of 2001? Kenyans were number 4 & 5 in Miss world and Miss universe competitions last year respectively. You guys it seems will be talking of the 2001 girl for the next 1000 years lol.

Anyway, Safari is a Swahili word.

To hell with such fallacious unsubstantiated fact, the ngo can shove it in their anus, bring it out and suck it up in their buccal cavity,

You can believe even a truth from the devil, it is your right to believability wenedem

Are you for real? FYI countries with the lowest infant mortality have the lowest population growth rate. Anyone who's seen the doors of a decent High School should know that.

We have Mobius cars here

What an irony. In the same post she condemns Kenyans of bragging before googling to get the facts, she brags before googling to get the facts. Makes you wonder who's the dumb one between her and the Kenyans she calls dumb.

Her intelligence is questionable. And btw Bantus are the most successful Black ethnicity. All the way from Central Africa to South Africa. They had iron tools, assimilated most of all other non Bantu tribes that were along the way.
She needs to know more about Kenya.

Is she even aware Bantus were the first people to use bronze?
