gee4real: TCN simply means third country national. I believe this will put to rest the argument over the quota as applicable to the students seeking TRP. 1 Like |

gee4real:u should know that wasn't possible , I spoke with d guy who received my application in Estonia embassy , all trp application is not processed at the Estonia embassies they are all sent to Estonia same day or tops nxt day after application for processing and he told me specifically that they receive in Estonia 300 applications a week , meaning in less then 4 months that quota will be achieved .. We spoke at lent that day and he gave me his contact In case in need internship wit the embassy ... Y"should think of gettin to Estonia and leave that invalid argument .. |

Bro the above is a resolution and the agreement is reached by all the European nations, this one is applicable to Estonia and mind you it's binding, any change or alteration to the above is not what somebody somewhere thinks or feel, if you're not a member of the Estonia Legislative or Executive council you may not have much to say on the above. This is not Nigeria or any African country where things are done through the back door. |

Femirates: Please stop misleading people about this resident permit of a thing and if Egypt embassy or India embassy decides not to give visa its not because Estonia government give them any direct order but they are acting in their own way. read carefully the information below. Estonia's annual immigration quota, which regulates temporary residence permits for enterprise and employment-based immigration from third countries, is on track to be reached this summer already. This year's immigration quota is 1,317 people. As the Police and Border Guard Board (PPA) has issued 893 residence permits within the year's immigration quota and another 320 applications are currently being pricessed, the immigration quota will be reached this summer, after which no more applications will likely be accepted, likely as of the end of June, according to a Ministry of the Interior press release. The ministry has analyzed different options for changing the immigration quota regulation and presented the results of the analysis to the government. "The immigration quota has been applied in Estonian migration policy since 1990 already and by today it has clearly become obsolete," commented Minister of the Interior Andres Anvelt (SDE). "In the coming weeks, the government must make a decision on the establishment of a broad-based work group in order to involve all cooperation partners in developing proposals suitable for Estonia and which the Government can then take forward. We need to find a smart solution that would take into account the needs of the labor market and allow us to flexibly respond to changing circumstances." Upon the fulfilment of the immigration quota, foreign specialists can use the registration of short-term employment as an interim solution. A foreigner who has a legal basis for temporary stay in Estonia and whose employment has been registered with the Police and Border Guard Board prior to beginning work may be employed in Estonia for a brief period of time without a residence permit. Short-term employment in Estonia may last up to nine months during one year. The registration of short-term employment can be applied for by the employer in person, via an authorized representative at a service office, by mail or via email. Estonia's annual immigration quota includes temporary residence permits issued for employment or business and under an international agreement. The quota of 0.1 percent of the permanent population of Estonia derives from the Aliens Act. The quota does not include family migration, migration for studies (including researchers and teaching staff), commencement of employment in ICT or in a start-up, foundation of a start-up, acting as a major investor, and extensions of residence permits. The quota also does not include citizens of the EU and their family members as well as the citizens of the U.S. and Japan. Thus, such will still be able to settle in Estonia even after the immigration quota is reached. Every year, more than 6,500 foreigners come to live in Estonia, just under half of whom are utilizing the right of free movement of persons or are EU or Swiss citizens. People from third countries come to Estonia to study or work or accompany their family under a temporary residence permit. http://news.err.ee/601119/immigration-quota-for-the-year-to-be-reached-in-june 1 Like |

I was at the Egypt embassy on Wednesday and was told they no longer issued visas to candidates going to Cairo for Estonian visa appointment,I asked the woman when next I should apply, she told me her advice is that I try another route. So the best thing right now is to go the normal Egypt tourist visa application route. I have an agent who is good with that and we have an agreement that there would be a discount if we are up to 5 candidates. So any Msc candidate interested should give me a call at 08036626137. |

pls the gurus should kindly help me out, I just received my conditional acceptance letter today and the invitation letter has been sent to Egypt embassy, I want know if I can write an email to the school to help me send my invitation letter to another country like South Africa because of this Egypt visa issue and I want know if Estonia embassy in South Africa issues trp and visa, thank you |
Re: Lets Talk About Estonia by femiratess(m): 6:23pm On Jun 27, 2017 |
peacepeter111: 1. no Estonia Embassy in South Africa.....its only Egypt in Africa. 2. STEP 6 After the tuition fee has been transferred to the account of Euroacademy, the letter of acceptance will be sent to the applicant. The applicant informs Euroacademy in which Estonian embassy he/she can apply for visa and residence permit. Euroacademy is going to send an invitation to the Estonian embassy and to the Police and Boarder Guard. The invitation is not resent in the same term anymore if for any reason an applicant could not go to the embassy he/she chose or if an embassy refused to give the person a visa. but no harms in checking with the school |
