If you are not looking/waiting for a 'societal' wedding, he should arrange whatever he can afford & marry you. If you have a child for him out of wedlock, you might as well forget being legally married to him and chances are you might have issues because of that in the future.

Therefore, to avoid had I know, do not put the cart before the horse.
