I spoke with one of my former drivers on Sunday. He drives his own 2014 Kia now and he said he makes 120-130k weekly but he drives around with his tooth brush and new clothes in the car trunk. He works a lot!! If you can work long hours, I agree uber is still a nice business especially if you own your car. I have said it before and i repeat again Uber is good business for those that are hardworking and smart. We should stop telling people otherwise. I posted my earnings last week where i made about 130k. This week on Monday i did close to 20k, Tuesday i did close to 25k, i only worked for about 5 hours today because i wanted to do some maintenance on my car , rest and power up for serious work on Thursday and the weekend. By the special grace of God i hope to make about 120k this week. I took a ride as a rider early this month and the driver told me he pays 40k to his partner and he has NEVER defaulted, and this guy closes early o. People are making money on Uber

I feel like people who are abusing Uber are doing it to discourage others so that there will be less drivers, and thus more surge. There is no need for that. The sky is big enough for everyone.

Someone said Uber now takes 5 percent. Who can confirm this. I pray its true cos taxify takes 5 percent and the 25 percent on uber is too much.

It's not true Pls. Maybe d person meant 25%

They take 5% at certain times (12noon to 8pm) and selected areas

No driver should have a problem making that amount, they might just not want a small car like 2000 corolla. But find a driver first and reach an agreement.

Since uber has bent on charging very low, they should reduce there percentage to 5 percent. It will go a long way for the drivers.

If you do, do you get offers to pick a large number of passengers and goods as much as you get to pick one or two?

The office is on Providence road, it's the road where you have elim motors, leather world etc.. Just take a bus going to ajah and drop at lekki phase 1 roundabout which is the first round about. When you enter the lekki phase 1 gate, you take the first turning by your right, then right again into Providence road. You can take a bike from there to the Samsung centre or just tell the bike guy Uber office.

if you're driving, once you enter the Providence road just drive down to the Samsung centre or anywhere you see guys hanging around with cars parked on both sides of the road.

Please how do I charge riders toll fee on taxify.
On uber, they input it automatically but taxify is not so. I don't know how to charge or include it in d riders fair. Thank u
