LOL why do you say Xiaomi Cameras are a let down? So you want a flagship camera in a sub 60k phone Good luck with that.
Someone right here is already complaining about the camera performance of the all new Xiaomi mi max2. Is that one a sub 60K phone too?

[quote author=ubev01 post=57980270]

My guy only complaint na camera. Coming from m5 plus, wanted to upgrade to m6 plus b4 i convinced him to get d max2

Let the person show us the photos from the mi max 2, pretty sure the photos will be okay. The point remains, it's still a budget phablet and he shouldn't expect a flagship performance.

GOOOD job...the tecno camnon beat the redmi in flash photo, the rest i prefer the redmi..though the last pic..you gave redmi an advantage..cos you shot more of the sky than the actual surrounding as you did with the tecno..

all in all...good cameras for sub 65k/55k phones

@lexusgs460, which umidigi device would you compare against the redmi note 4x 3gb/32gb?
I didn't snap the pics my self, but your point is invalid about the last pics, both faced the sky and were snapping against light actually.

Modified : Didn't see your comment about the flash early enough. On the contrary, the Redmi performed better with flash. Have you tried zooming to read the text on the carton? Plus the Redmi showed us everything happening, because the flash distribution is better, if you look under your screen, you'll see its dark with the CX. I keep looking at the pics with flash with the CX, because I couldn't bring my self to believe it was taken with flash initially, the only thing that convinced me is the absence of shadows. The flash looks poor.

Unbiased you say? You that can be partial in judging those pictures?

Madam, I did not personally snap the pictures nah......... I would give my own personal experience, from physically handling the device and putting it through its paces, in my own personal way ......
My personal way, might defer from others........
You get my drift ?

The guy has already compared it with his more than a year old Gionee m5 plus. That's why he's crying grin

When you compare all photo sequences, they cancel themselves out......
Never! The Redmi trumps the CX in every single pics there, it comes out sharper and brighter in all the scenes. The CX looks blurry in low light when compared to the Redmi, plus in the last pics, just take a look at the cloud, the Cx simply overexposed it and couldn't find the blue colour. Where the Redmi seemed to overdo the job is in the second pics with flash, the yellow is too much but the pics came out sharper than the CX. Overall the Redmi note 4x beats the CX hands down.

Now I know that many if not most nairalanders, know very little about photography. I keep wondering if this is thesame Camon CX people say comes with a very dope camera here on nairaland. When we say the Redmi note 4x camera is average, some people start fretting and the funniest thing is they compare it with their Tecno and Infinix. Well, for those who care, I rate the Redmi note 4x camera as average, and that of the Tecno Camon Cx below average.

Hence my point about them cancelling themselves out......
Average & Below average in classification of photography is POOR........

Gptech, so, that camon they turn everything to white, white, it can't even picked up the wine colour, Chai,,,, i laugh in swahili. Lexusgs430, wetin i wan tell this oga sef? Till later

My honest and unbiased review must be personalised. Personalised in the sense that, I have all devices to hand to test.
Unfortunately, I do not own any xiaomi devices. So my review of what I saw, is more of an abstract nature...

To test the cameras properly, they must be on a tripod and under similar conditions..

Smh! You don't own a xiaomi phone, yet someone who owns both posted a review. Not satisfied with it, you now claim you want to do an unbiased review, meaning that the reviews my ogas have been posting here are skewed? Chairman your case is different.
