Mtn website is not up to date.
Plus that stupid network don't communicate new developments with customers until you fall victim.
I fell victim last month.

They have completely stopped data roll over.

E.g, if the 40gb is normal sub and it will expire next month if you try to extend it, it won't work, they will create new date for the new subscription.

I had some data remaining that was supposed to expire tomoro before I subscribed for this new one and both of them were combined to give a new expiry date.

Calm down.. and try to understand what he is saying...

The new update is that there is no more validity extension like have 4 month expiry date to finish a plan if you subscribe 4 times..
Example : Before if you Subscribe 5 GB plan 4 times, you get 20G with 4 month validity

Roll over works this way it's meant to be 30 days validity for every monthly plan if you have 5 GB left now.. and you subscribe same Data plan today.. you will have the 5G left on previous plan added to the one you subscribe today and all will expire in 30days time..

My own data and validity extends.
I've done 3.5gb twice and there was both addition and extension based on the latest subscription.

What I was asking was simple enough.

Can you extend the date and still have your data intact like normal data roll over?

Check my current data screenshot below.
I don't normally have 2 expiration dates for different data before.

For example, if I have 10gb on mtn and when its about to expire, I will extend the validity with another week or month depending on how I use data for that month and the data will increase based on that volume.

But now I have to finish one before I can start using the other.

Go and check my rants on mtn customer care thread when they told me they have stopped data roll over, that's why it looks like that.

So how did I lie exactly like the guy is ranting up and down like I'm in competition with him something?

Simple, he supposed to come out and tell me that I can extend my validity and keep my data, we do business and move. So wtf?

That was a glitch then, but trust Naija.. we like to misuse opportunity...

At a time I did the 10GB plan used for a about 3 months since I have surplus validity period..
