Spy360:Nwanne gaa zuo Ike. Just the same way Arsenal have gotten Mbappe abi? This is football, nobody ever truly gets what they want, that why Mourinho's list has up to four options incase the first ones didn't work out. The Lucozade that u signed, u think his first choice was Arsenal? Somebody that had agreed a deal with Athletico Madrid b4 their transfer ban. Now he is all over the social media as if he knew Arsenal b4 nw. U better go and take care of your manager... Ordinary small money that he's spent and he's already looking like.. 14 Likes

^^^^^^ A big Club like United can't be relying on just a Striker to lead the Attack in all Competitions. JM knows what is at stake. The Club was OK with second Tier Trophies last Season, but aiming for the REAL Titles this Season. So both of them gonna definitely enjoy playing time, remember they can play on the Wing too! |

Spy360: We never said we wanted him... only one or 2 United fans from the hundreds here did. The matter is that in a two horse race to sign a so-called donkey striker Chelsea still lost. As for you and your team, bantering una nor even make sense anymore after the other one trying to troll Lukaku was put in his place |

pharod: Don't waste your time on Arsenal fans. A club that could have Sanchez and Ozil and still lose 10-2 to Bayern is not one to worry about when they get a striker who didn't want them when it was the obvious choice, a striker played in a french league where Ibrahimovic overshadowed him. |

I am among the lot that didn't want Lukaku, I have preference for strikers who are good in tight spaces and who are skillful but now Lukaku is finally here, I'm not gonna act like those who turned their back on the club when we signed Mourinho or those who didn't like Zlatan, I'm going to love and support him and the club through the thick and thin...Glory Glory Manchester United. 17 Likes |

patrickmuf: Gbam! I honestly don't know how those people who claim to be United fans join others especially rival fans (who are no good and never will be) in hating people at the club? I wonder how they do it. It's like joining outsiders in mocking your wife, or husband or children. If the man is a 1 minute man, the woman only knows how to lie down like a log of wood and the children na olodo, you go manage am like that, resolve am within the family. The day we signed up to be united fans is the day we decided to love all and all about the club. Wether the manager sucks or not doesn't matter. What matters is let there be success on the pitch and even if that doesn't come you stick with your team. These are the kinds of gloryhunters that will decamp if all this money we are spending doesn't translate to success. 5 Likes |

joeace2020: Bruv I have an Everton friend He's been mocking me and genuinely believes we are getting scammed....Aubameyeng is better than Lukaku, I even read some evertonian season ticket holders view on Lukaku they rate him average, infact 70% of Everton believe him to be just above average while the rest don't give a fvck...Its not exactly bad nor good just average which is kind of mellow...i would expect better quality for 75m but with a player like Pogba chipping in through passes, hopefully Lukaku will be clinical and that would make me more than happy to overlook his gorilla first touch. |

Godstraight: He has a bad... a disastrous first touch if that will satisfy you but make una come dey make mouth here like say una nor want am, na we just collect am. That i hate. I go carry am go Europe. The last time him go Europe, e score 8 goals in 6 matches. Carry your Belotti and Morata plus Aubameyang on top dey go. Wetin i know be say e dey score goals, he get BPL experience and first touch doesn't win you trophies, goals do. |

joeace2020:you like lukaku, most Chelsea fans I know outside nairaland didn't like him,and now you got him,its very obvious conte wanted him I don't deny that, what I don't understand is the trolling you are trying to troll simply because you "overtook" us and sign lukaku, I am perplexed who the f*ck is lukaku that Chelsea should feel sad for because we didn't sign him,am trying to tell you that even with Conte's and most of chelsea fanbase irrationally wanting there are thousand ways we can do without him and still win the league, even morrata with all his meekness we still contribute more to Chelsea teamplay fan more the lukaku, the way I didn't want him is the same way I don't want bakayoko |

PattyCake: In truth, Lukaku is not the best out there if you want good strikers. But how many are good ones who are starters for club are available and the available first teamers how much do they cost? Even if we got morata, no one knows what he would have become so there's no need feeling this is worse signing and motatta the better signing. For all we know, he could be Aspas 2.0 or Torres in his prime at Liverpool. I don't even want a player who'll be angling for a move back to Spain as soon as he starts making small waves. Look at how we almost lost De Gea and will still lose him. Let us be happy with what we got because for me with his close fridndship with Pogba, premier league experience and already dealing with the English weather which these Spaniards always give as excuse for running home, and considering the fact this is as high as Lukaku can get in his career, barca and madrid won't come calling, he'll just have to deliver. |

Godstraight: What you say is one thing.. what your club is doing is another. A player already seems like going to united. His first touch is a disaster, he will not contribute up to Morata but your club matched united's bid when any reasonable club would have moved on. I am not trolling Chelsea. Y'all have been really successful. I am just saying united got their man, Chelsea didn't. We are enjoying the 1-0 off season match. Is that a crime? ![]() |

Jose Mourinho will still have £100m left at his disposal after Romelu Lukaku joins Manchester United. United are confident they will be able to confirm the capture of the Belgium internationalsoon after a fee of £75m with £15m in add-ons was agreed. And club insiders also insist that Old Trafford bosses have sanctioned a further round of massive spending to ensure that Mourinho is happy with his squad going into the new campaign. United have already splashed out £35m to Benfica for Swedish central defender Victor Lindelof, and it's believed the Manchester giants want as many as five new faces in before the transfer window closes. That could take United's summer spending soaring past the £200m mark - a new club record - but Mourinho has been assured the funds are all in place to give him want he wants. Wayne Rooney, is on the verge of returning to Everton. He was signed by United at the age of 18 back in 2004, making him the most expensive teenager in the world at the time. But the tenacious young Everton striker had turned down United twice while at Goodison Park, once when he was 14, and once when he was 16. Sir Alex Ferguson recently discussed Rooney, his incredible achievements and United’s relentless pursuit of the young striker. “When he was 14 years of age, Jim Ryan had flagged him up from the Everton academy and it was something that we paid attention to but he wouldn’t leave their academy at that time. “When he became 16 we tried again but he still wouldn’t leave. Then when Walter Smith became assistant he said ‘You need Rooney, he’s the best young player in the game.’ “And that’s when we started to be serious. We made overtures to Everton, they of course resisted but we kept at it. At the end of the day it came down to a price. “It was decided when we played Everton at Old Trafford. We had Bill Kenwright, David Moyes, Maurice Watkins, David Gill and myself, thrashing out the deal. Bill Kenwright was on his phone and he hands it [to me] and says ‘it’s my mother, she wants to talk to you.’ She said ‘don’t you dare steal my boy!’ “We thrashed out the deal – £27m, 18 years of age.” [Source: BBCSport] |
