In what universe ?
" Kept them where they are ? " shocked
Where exactly are they ?

Are you referring to The people who were left to start from scratch in 1970, and who , today, boast the largest middle class in Nigeria, largest home ownership in Nigeria, highest university enrolment for 3 solid decades , whose commercial enterprises make up by far the greater percentage of Nigeria's GDP ?

Like someone showed in a cartoon yesterday, Nigeria is like slow moving vehicle trying to climb up a hill. The Igbos are pushing the vehicle uphill from behind, while the core North is at the same time pushing the vehicle from the front downhill, while the rest sit comfortably , enjoying the ride , whichever way it rolls.

Where Igbos are now is that they are tired of the perennial backwardization of their potentials, dreams, aspirations and capabilities.
