Thank you very much @likeababygirl, pls answer my 2nd question. [/quote] 2. How long can one stay with 2/5 years visit/biz Canada visa? is it for the whole visa period or you have to leave after 3 months like the way they operate in the US if you don't want to end up being an illegal immigrant. likeababygirl: |

likeababygirl: I doubt this is true, there are some people here that applied from other countries, e.g. Maziude, judebebo etc |

Frankrobbn1:Oops! Sorry about the outcome of your application. It's a good thing you are ordering for your GCMS note. If you are using http://gcmsnow.com, you will fill in your card details first, after that, it will take you to the page where you fill relevant details of your application before you order. All the best bro. And feel welcome to share your profile so somethings can be looked into pending when your GCMS file is out. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 12:39pm On Jul 09, 2017 |
fiendishghoul:It is actually true. You cannot change a visiting or business visa to a study permit from within canada. An applicant will have to apply from outside canada. The people you mentioned all applied from outside canada and were all students in their respective countries of residence. The contextual issue is applying within canada for a study permit. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by fiendishghoul: 12:48pm On Jul 09, 2017 |
Austinpee4: Oh okay, I was actually making reference to the bolded statement about returning home before applying for study permit, I believe it's possible to apply from any country provided you have legal status in that country.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Austinpee4: 1:35pm On Jul 09, 2017 |
fiendishghoul:Yes, it is possible to apply from other countries with legal immigration status. Meanwhile, the image you uploaded did not show the exceptions of those wishing to apply within canada. Only these category of people can apply within canada: - Minor children studying at the primary or secondary level - Exchange or visiting Student(s) - Student who have completed a short term course or program of study that is a condition for acceptance at a designated learning institution Other person(s) wishing to study for more than 6 months in canada will have to leave canada and apply from outside canada. 1 Like |

Hello house i got a delay mail from CIC yesterday based on the following. I submitted on 30/May/2017. 1. Pursuant to Section 219 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulation, I am not satisfied that you: A. have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue. 2. You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including: A. Purpose of visit B. Travel history I paid my school fee for 1 year which was $3000 but i paid $5000. I submitted a bank statement of 6m from my uncle in 4 different account. I also proved relationship |
