help a ftm o, if my baby is sucking d right side breast, d left side breast will be running like tap and vice versa and I'll have to put a cup to avoid being wet, even if my baby is not sucking, breast milk will still come out, I usually get soaked whenever I sleep. can putting on bra solve it?
it's normal as the other breast feels like it's been sucked. I always wear bra when breastfeeding or use your hand to block ur nipple

Your b00by would be touching your toes by the time you wean your babies if you don't wear bra ooo.**i kid you**

Yes you should wear a bra and insert nursing pads to soak up the leak.....it's normal. The sucking effect sends a signal to your brain to produce milk, there's nothing you can do about it.
However, if you are good at multitasking and have a breastpump, you can pump the milk into a bottle so it's not wasting.

ehn ehn OK thanks

embarassedgood advise
Too much drugs may cause side effect later
Give her fruits more to drink
God bless you
olubankemi:

Sorry ftm. Drs prescribe zinnat when pririton and vitc and other antibiotics doesn't work. Now that your baby has used zinnat and the running nose is still there pls stop all medications. Let it die a natural death and I bet you, in three days it will go. This was what I did and my kids running nose stopped in three days.

However, always dress yourbaby warmly, give warm water to drink.

If. You have palm kernel oil, rub his feet, head and chest with it morning n night, if you don't have use ori (shear butter). It's very good, my kids had the running nose when I stopped using it n since I resumed it. Nothing like it.

My observation though: frequent use of silverbird and menthylatum causes running nose. You might consider stopping it for a while.

Lol... My wife experienced such and it very normal
I helped at times
I think the father should help to ease discomfort
Apart from the advice you were given
Breast pump is better but make shall you give the kids the bottle of the milk not later than three hours after saving them and use refrigerator

I think the advice from other Mama's is best. Stop all medication and do steam inhalation, it's the season. My LO started with cough and catarrh this morning again
Naomi14 nailcutter is still the safest. Did you buy one for kids? Do it when she's sleeping, very gently

its nothing very serious just take him to the hospital they know what to do. My son had it so the nurse that circumcised him during his circumcision noticed it and cut it. Though he bleed just a little sha but she advised me to give him paracetamol, abidec and zannat because of the pain and a little jaundice though the zannat is for any infection that may likely occur during the healing process. Then breast milk heals it faster
plz how do you know if your baby's tongue is tied?

Why are you scared?
You can cut it when she's asleep but be careful not to cut her. That's what's happened the first time I cut my lo's nails. Oops. (I guess that's why you're scared) tongue

Now I just file the nails. It's safer.

Her concerns should have been that if you cannot treat a maid well, you don't have any business getting one, cos we all hear stories of how some wicked madam treat their maids.
Meanwhile forget that abroad things, African parents have special utali / cane they use on their children so that they don't grow up being useless.

cc Omolayo29. You need to wear a bra with a breastpad in to help with leaks. You can either buy washable breastpads or disposable. Depending on how full the brea.st is you can put light pressure on the nip.ple once you feel it about to leak, it usually stops but a breastpad is the best solution

Who is this devil who has tried to summon me?? Anyone who employs a child as a maid is ignorant and evil. I live in a modern country and I know that due to the ignorance in Nigeria, child slavery is still ongoing. However I also know that many evil spirits lie there who don't want the system to change. This is why you find Nigerians carving up whales while other countries are administering aid to the animals. Nigeria is a zoo and many of its people are animals. Once you realize this, I would hope that you would want more for yourself. I tire for the place and really don't want to have anything else to do with it. I have no plans of visiting or stepping foot into that desolate place. The evil surpasses me. I only pray for your innocent children to escape and not be corrupted.

Me, i have turned a believer o. Union bank don change, maybe it's the branch near my house. Infact, i opened an account with them and bought treasury bills. They gave me almost primary market rate @ 17% whilst my bank was telling me that they can call in some favours and give me 14.5%.

Leave evil doer. Your devilish thoughts and ways will not infect me. Continue to engage in child slavery. Look around you. Your country is a wasteland. It's because of the evil people that reside there. Not every Nigerian is evil, but I do think the majority are. You have cursed your children's children with your behavior. So glad I don't live there. If you want a fight, I will surely give it to you. I will always fight for innocent children. Unfortunately by the time they are 3 to 4 years old, they will probably be infected with the Nigerian mind.

Can you leave this thread in peace? We are talking of newborn babies. Stop derailing abeg. Your posts are just too vile this early in the week.
