yes they do public shows in the streets , squares , schools , for citizens, childrens to encourage people to engage in the army , impossible to make elaborate assault shows ! so they mostly show martial arts ( the kuk sool martial art used by our SF ) . for assaults they do shows only for TV reports or in Barracks and training center open doors

US , UK and French Officers are constantly in touch with their Nigerian Counterparts they are known as the P3. The US is also heavily involved in the humanitarian effort in the NE . The Charlie 130 is not really a big deal, it could be conveying any number of the following things: Personnel, Logistics, weapons or even communication equipment, for whatever reasons the Trump administration has extended some form of friendship both in terms of financial aid and I dare to speculate also some military.

Eland 60 being rescued after many years of rusting in storage at the Umvoti Mounted Rifles. Last I heard it was going to be fully restored for public exhibits and parades.

All units everywhere should do this with their antique vehicles whenever possible (or at the very least, donate them to a museum) instead of letting them go to waste. Especially when they are an important part of regimental history.

General specifications of Nigeria's locally built IPV.

The vehicle was launched during the Nigerian army's research and innovation summit earlier this year.

The vehicle participated in this year's army capability demonstration in Sambisa forest.

The vehicles has seen been deployed in the Theater of operation.


The infantry patrol vehicle (ipv) with off-road mobility and a crew of three was one of the star attractions at the summit. Weighing 650kg and powered by 150-200 Horse Power Engine, the ipv has a 130 kilometre per hour capacity.
It provides force multiplier and the required flexibility to undertake all tasks across the entire spectrum of military operations, including range fighting, fast action mission, urban and border patrols.
The ipv is fitted with two machine guns and have been deployed in all the theatres of operation."
