justwise: I second that!!! I was at a seminar few months ago where a VO of the US embassy spoke. He said there are VOs who actually read through social medias and blogs of Nigerians discussing about Visa related issues. And that's how they get to know the tricks and enhance their psychological abilities in other to determine who is what. Let's all desist from fraudulent posts and acts. Goodluck to us all 10 Likes |

Quan964: If by boosting account the poster meant a loan that isn't wrong as long as it is a legitimate loan. However "account boosting" as I've seen and observed it to be used refers to the altering of bank statements to make your balance larger which should always be discouraged. Just to respond to another misconception in your post, a scholarship is considered a valid source of funds-one that covers tuition and living expenses significantly reduces the need for a personal soa. 4 Likes |

DereI: Even as we have 2 American embassy VOs in this section many Nigerians still post some shocking incriminating questions in those threads. Some Nigerians think they are smart or their plan to cheat the immigration system will never be rumbled but time and time again you see them get banned, deported and some times jailed. Its now normal for some people to do the wrong thing and still call the name of God while at it. |

Well, that said, let's get the house back on track. Whose CIC profile has changed recently (today) Who's been approved and who's been called for medicals? When called for medicals, is it via email or will it reflect as a message in the CIC profile? Just checked mine....still no changes... |

activelyA: Statement of purpose. For the CGPA I can't say. Go to Wes evaluation Canada and use the free GPA conversion tool. There your GPA would be converted to Canadian GPA. However if you meet the cutoff of U of T, it necessarily doesn't guarantee admission. It's advisable u apply to 2 more schools to maximize your chance properly. Regards 1 Like |

WOW!!! I can see alot has happened in here in my absence, I hate it when people do the wrong thing purposely and also fight/argue to make it seem right! Anyways... Far from that IN A BIT TO KEEP THE THREAD GOING I have an idea and its open to everyone who has gotten their trv and would be resuming this September .intention to meet physically especially we here in Lagos for encouragement and bond building as we soar into CANNYLAND NOTE: No sidelining oooo just a harmless idea before we all travel in August. Venue and date(probably a saturday afternoon) is open for deliberation for those who are interested. Agenda can be drawn before the day. The essence is to move the thread forward. (I don't know if this is derailing or against the rule but I just said my idea... Either discard or approve please no long argument... Make una cool temper) Cc: Osemigho Wealth360 Chonewillie Markab... 2 Likes |

CanadianNurse, ok. I work 8am-5pm 5days a week though. Maybe we can go Dutch around my place of work, anytime during the week. It has some nice relaxation spots. Alternatively, who is going to Sunday's GLO fiesta at eko hotel? |

Please, is it possible to have secured a study permit/visa by an acceptance into a school and then changing to another school in a different province even as you have secured the admission letter of the other school you are transferring to? |
