@yamen21 how far with the current situation on your application, any green light? @justwise please tender justice with mercy, kindly unbanned the newbies I bliv they have learnt their lessons already, they now understand the rules guiyoursing this forum. I will like to pin-point my observations concerning trv application and also share my view based on personal experience. Please let us endeavour to keep our application simply & precise and avoid submitting too many irrelevant documents. Most times, It amaze me reading how much people complain about the delay in getting response from cic not knowing that in one way or the other,we also contribute to the delay. Have we all forgotten its their duty to verify every single documents you submitted? Have you ever thought of people who didnt present a quatre of what you have submitted yet they got their trv approved in no time. This people take their time to verify the authenticity of every documents submitted( they fear we Nigerians, there is notin we no fit do lol). Sometimes irrelevant documents end up complicating our applications, they tends to dwell more into some docs whc should have been kept encosed. There is no magic behind it, it is simply a logical reasoning.( only phD applicants get a preferential treatment lol coz the vo knows their intentions to study is always genuine and they are so certain that most of them (nt all) will return back home after study even without a convincing note this is why they hardly deny phD applicants). Permit me to take my boss @tuziude and i as an example. I was once anxious and always checking my cic portal for updates every min at the same time, when I remember how many documents I had submitted,I definitely knew my trv wasnt coming so soon, my application took (21weeks) almost 5months. I assume we all saw the documents my boss presented, just imagine how long it would have taken the vo to verify each document which seems like its taking forever. But we thank God it ended in praise. It is not easy my bro and sis cos the waiting period can be so frustrating but We should try as much as possible to screen our documents, make sure the necessary and the important ones are there, also call the attentions of the gurus in the house to help you verify before submitting. Let's watchout for irrelevant documents so as to hasten our trv approval. I wish all trv hopeful best of God, as he have successfully made it easy for us, may he make it easy for all trv hopefuls and intending trv applicants as well. PS: am not discouraging submitting voluminous documents, Yes there are just few people who did and still got their trv approved within a short period of time. But 1/100 for msc/Meng applicants not even now that all eyes is on Nigerian applicants .it is all for our own good. The choice is yours! My 2cent......cheers! 9 Likes |

Darrelah: Please always remember, all good and perfect gift comes from above (Father of light) and he maketh everything beautiful in his own time. I have waited 26 weeks and 4days and I'm still breathing. Worry has not and will not solve anything. Please scratch that! Nonetheless, I want you to realign your focus, think straight(lol), pick up a new skill, work out, feed well and always rest. I'm pretty sure you don't wanna resume school looking haggard. Whatever the circumstance, fight for your dream, it's worth it!!! P.S: You might feel what's this lil girl saying, she doesnt know what the indefinite wait feels like, I can relate, my app is staring at week 27 and I'm still living. Best wishes all and Sundry! 7 Likes |

Ayoola03: I believe this 100%. I can remember reading an applicant's post here on NL that was approved within 20 days. By the time I saw what she submitted I understood why. Only necessary Docs and would affect the outcome. I saw 2 days ago that we even send original transcripts from school to the embassy address? Put yourself in VO shoes wouldn't you wonder why? Or maybe the applicant is a bit confused on procedures. Another thing is when the explanation is too much, you tend to get questioned from what you have said. Remember they are trained psycologists (at least that's what I always call VOs). I know every application is different but let's simplify it. God will see us all through IJN Happy weekend 4 Likes |

Waiting for out an outcome from feb made me pause so many things...but I won't see it as a waste cos anything can still happen. So let's be strong and keep pushing!!!!! 4 Likes |

vvvvvvvvvvvvvvv: Hello boss. What is your eligibility status saying? What is your background check saying? What is your additional document review saying?. I think we should all understand these questions to know the stage of our application so that we can reduce the pressure and relax a bit. CIC has stated clearly the stages to be: Stage 1: First review Stage 2: Background Check Stage 3: Review of eligibility Stage 4: Medical mail. From my analysis so far, once your application get to stage 3 and remains there for a very long time, then you have a very good chance of getting approval. So far, from what I have observed, applications at this stage usually get positive response. If nothing has changed on your application and processing time has passed, I will advise you keep sending reminder mails to CIC. Attach screenshot of your online tool as well. I believe God will show up in this coming week. Congrats to all of us waiting for trv. NB: my personal opinion here. 1 Like |

My application as at today is about 15,465,600 seconds old or 257,760 minutes or 4296 hours or 179 days or 25 weeks and 4 days whichever one you choose to call it . Meaning CIC have spent 49.04% of 2017 processing my app. I remember a friend asking me few weeks back 'how come you still manage to laugh'. Well, one I thing I am confident of is that, one day all this is gonna be history when I am living my dreams in the beautiful city of Vancouver. I'm not gonna worry, I am just gonna enjoy my life and prepare for the best. I can't deny i don't also have times that I am like 'what the heck is going on, why is this taking so damn long!' but I take a conscious effort to re-route my thinking and stay positive. My advice, channel your energy into other productive things, while you hope for the best, don't spend all day opening & checking your CIC account. Worrying is a negative energy. No doubt the hardest part of Canada visa application process is the 'waiting period' especially for we Nigerians. But you just gotta be positive and trust God that everything would work out fine. Worrying won't change the outcome of your visa app, but I believe God can and will work it out in your favour. Brace yourself house, I see avalanche of TRV approval coming. Darrelah: 13 Likes |

Hello house good morning. Please I need enquiry on this.
