ElJay162:Think one of them said 19.......That 1/3 part doesn't correlate with the 170% , I think they will take between 80-90 sha but 120-above to me is very outrageous and daylight dreaming. |
Re: PwC Nigeria Graduate Recruitment 2017 by mcpat(m): 3:00pm On Jul 15, 2017 |
maryjabeez: 1/3 of X = 19 X = 57 Since it's not actually 1/3, x > 57... 1.7 X 48 = 81.6 = 81 81 -19 = 62 Since it's almost 170%, x < 62 Therefore 57 < x < 62 |

mayoor15:I will go with this. From previous research and predictions, it shows Pwc takes like 1/2 of the candidate they interviewed(i might be wrong). 2015- 115/2++ 2016-app 50(nearest 10)/10+ 2017- 22+ made it to interview stage Advisory(according to trapqueen) - 19/35 According to Maryjabeez(advisory/tax left with 180candidate) According to olalekan206- App 1.7*50= 85 But the 1/3 my brain no fit carry dat one(my ram is hanging) NB: In terms of revenue according to 2015 transparency report audit and Tax combines 85. 5% of the total revenue Also 2016: 2partners(recession at it peak) 2017 : 6 partners( 3Tax and 3Audit and no Advisory patner) . Hypothetically each partner should be responsible for a staff strength of 30(including SM, Mangers, Senior associate and lot of millennials for d job(Trainee). All these are pointer to the number of candidate that will be deployed NB: My analysis is flawed I know 3 Likes |

mcpat:If it happens baba, life goes on, I can't give myself hypertension over pwc, like someone said, getting to the last stage shows your quality, that you didn't get it this year doesn't mean you can't next year....Baba just drink chill zobo and move on.....But no worry, pwc don take you already. 5 Likes |

mcpat:With length of your Interview, I doubt you will get a regret mail. I confirmed this with Unilever, Imagine my Interviewer telling me I was successful after my presentation and Case study analysis. But I go fall hand at the final stage with the Vice President..Failed an Integrity question. It was painful though, 250k net salary just pass me like that. When interviewer spends time drilling and disecting you, It means that you are ticking all the boxes. Except you fail an Integrity question. It will all end in praise. 2 Likes |

FreeTraining: I'm so sorry about your Unilever experience, I hope an offer comes sooner than you expect. To be honest, my interview wasn't a bed of roses. I had a splitting headache midway and I was tired of being drilled. They were questions I would have answered better under normal circumstances. Moreso, I'm always very critical on my performance and I concentrate more on my lapses since I'm always seeking to improve. To sum it up, I still believe the length of my interview isn't a determinant. I have no other option but to hope for the best. They are a lot of people I hope to work with on here. God help us all. 2 Likes |

mayoor15:so if he doesn't get this year. .. he'll still wait for PWC next year? like there are no better companies?. ..hmmmm I wish you guys the best.. |
Re: PwC Nigeria Graduate Recruitment 2017 by mayoor15(m): 2:48pm On Jul 16, 2017 |
PresVA:Lols, don't misquote me, all am saying is this, if he doesn't get it this year, he will definitely stay with the Job he is doing, or get another job and he definitely won't stay idle, but pwc for some people is a dream job especially for starters, truth is even if he gets a job in a bank today, he may still decide to try pwc again next year, we have cases of people that tried 2-3 times before getting it, there are many roads that leads to a destination....As for better companies, you definitely have to start somewhere. |
