IPOB will try their popularity in Anambra state this November 2017 when they advised their members to shun the gubernatorial election taking place in Anambra state. Anambra state will go to the poll to elect their leader because we know that half bread is better than none. IPOB is not bringing any replacement should the election be boycotted. The great silent majority of Anambra state will match to the poll in defiance and elect a leader who will take the state to greater height. I also wish to condemn Federal govt lackadaisical attitude towards many peaceful agitations in Nigeria. Government must negotiate with IPOB aim at ushering in enduring peace,Justice, equity and development across Nigeria. 1 Like |

Think before you write. The aim of the election is not to make the governorship seat vacant but to drive home our point that we're no longer interested in Nigerian politics. Sure, Obiano or someone else would win but when only 2,000 or less votes are collated in the whole of Anambra, you can imagine the amount of shame it will bring the Federal Government and State government. It will also ultimately shut up those Afonja keyboard warriors and their almajiri masters who claim that IPOB is "only supported by few misguided youths." They need to come down here and see what the atmosphere really feels like. Till then, no referendum, no election. 19 Likes |

What the braindead ediotic ipob touts failed to realize is that, the sit at home will favour apc more than anyone else. Kanu might be working for apc in reverse, may be that's why he hasn't been bundled back to prison. They didn't ask themselves why fg any one doing anything about their threat? All they have to do on election day is use solders to chase remaining miscreants that wants to vote any other party without resistance. Even if its only 100 people that vote in anambra, it changes nothing and it is not any embarrassment to anybody as ipob already caused enough embarassment with their continous "zoo wailing" all over foreign media. 2 Likes 1 Share |

conductor1a:Whatever the reason is,it is a "try your luck" taken too far. Nigeria government has no shame, they feel no shame. Nigeria situation already should be a cause for shame to Nigeria government. Why must we boycott Election in Anambra to spite Afonja keyboard warrior? That's uncalled for. Also, Referendum can't determine anything. Are you not concerned that INEC will conduct the so called referendum? How do you expect your wish to be reflected? Election must take place in Anambra state come this November. 2 Likes |

Election must hold, but no one will vote....... Have you seen how IPOB is taking the msg to the grassroot? The interior villages? There are some places iPOB went and the people were telling us how some people came for Campaign and village people were angry with them and told them to leave their lands. It is on record... You can try, but I hope u try your best, more campaign is coming and fiercer too. Nnamdi Kanu is coming back on RBL, the fireworks will be amazing. If the registered voters are 5million, not UpTo 100k will turn out to vote. Try your best, but don't vosiala aja oh... Cus in the end, we always win. 10 Likes

Agumbankembu: Even if it's 5k that show up out of 2 million voters, votes will still be collated and counted and a victor declared. So the boycott would be utterly pointless. And with a low turnout, who knows......a tout like Chris Uba or his brother might mobilize enough people to carry the state and rule for 4 yearrs. So what would you have achieved by your message. This reminds me of MASSOB telling people to boycott the 2006 census which turned out to be a chaotic mess in the SE and Uwazurike later confessed to regretting it. A lot of you simply don't think. Igbo people have the most pathetic grasp of politics in Nigeria and that's why we're a majority tribe that operates with a minority mentality. Too much emotion, little rationality, little sense. It's tragic. 3 Likes |

EmeeNaka: EU/UN had observatory agents, the Scottish Parliament with the SNP organized the referendum, their ls was a case of them calling and organizing the referendum, when the parliament at Westminster acceded to it, Scotland having the resources and power to, organized the referendum with Electoral Commission of the UK and sent formal requests to UN and EU, who then sent in their agents to monitor the whole process. Note here than unlike other elections, fresh preparations were made and it included 16 and 17 years old who lived in Scotland, the legal voting age in Scotland is 18 and above. So referendum is not like the internal elections, special preparations have to be made by the resident electoral body, if they are the ones to handle it. Or If the side that is going to vote do not trust the electoral body, the UN or AU will be the one to organize the referendum, to effect maximum neutrality. In this case, Biafrans do not look like people who would agree for INEC to conduct such, so we will have to let UN or AU do the work. 6 Likes |

conductor1a:There will be no referendum on Biafra in your lifetime, IPOB is just blowing hot air. If by some chance there exists a vacancy in Anambra government house, the national assembly has the authority to declare a state of emergency for 6 months, whereupon the APC led government in Abuja will appoint a sole administrator, with the national assembly taking over the legislative functions of the state house of assembly. If Anambra people make that mistake once, im sure that after six months rule by a sole administrator their brains will have a reset 1 Like |
