Abdon01: This is sad news. You got funding and should have been a plus. Did your sponsor have upto $10,000 plus balance of tuition. I e (about N10m). It would have been a plus for you. Re-apply with a large statement balance. I wish you well. 1 Like |

Emmane: Emmane, I didnt see your response early enough. You are indeed funny. Now listen, A child's blood group and genotype should correlate with that of the parents. For instance, if that poster and her hubby are both AA and the said nephew she wants to claim as hers turns out to be AS. How will they explain this. Another instance is if the poster and her hubby are blood group type A and O respectively. If this nephew is B. How do you explain this? They don't request for medical test just for fun. Fine, they do not carry out DNA tests in the medicals for visa but simple things like what I highlighted up there can raise suspicions. Yes it is possible for a family of 4 to have different blood group but the truth is that the children's blood group should correlate with the parent's own at the end of the day. U can't tell me that a couple that are both A Nd O blood group will have a B child. I didn't have enough time to type ds story yesterday in order to buttress my point . I know someone who got a visa lottery and has 2 kids but she wanted to take her little cousin along. When filling her visa lottery form, she already filled in her cousin's name using her hubby's surname for the boy as well. Luckily, she got the visa and left for the US with her hubby and her last child. After some years , she decided to take the 2 children she left behind. Do you know they refused that her cousin visa till date and they allowed her real child to go join the family. NOTE: Even her small cousin's passport and other documents were in her surname. Let us learn to do things right. If she had stated the truth from the beginning, they would have given the cousin visa as well. So be guided as well. 1 Like |

Prisscindy: Poster, take my advice. Adopt this boy to prove your responsibility. Or if his father can write a letter or an affidavit or something for you (I don't know if this can work, lawyers in the house cn help out to advise in the easiest way forward ), I know the process may be tedious but do the needful to avoid stories that touch. Read my response to Emmane for a clearer understanding. Yes, your so may not have same blood group as you but if a permutation of your own blood group and that of your hubby is done, your child's blood group should be one of the possible outcomes. The same thing for genotype. All the best. |

Austinpee4: @AustinePee4 - great advice. Kindly advice if it's advisable to apply with a different course of study after being rejected for purpose of study. How does one explain to the VO the change in course - do you say its a result of the previous denial or you just realised that your now proposed course of study is better suited to you or what? What is the best way to present this in an SOP that would be acceptable to the VO. Opinion of everyone is valued please. Take care |

CanadianNurse: I think funding is the main issue here. My sponsor's account balance is #385,000(with inflow and outflow of 14.8million) Maybe the #385k too small |
