You can be an extrovert and be shy.
Lack of self confidence is not the same thing as being introverted and vice versa.
No, it doesn't take self confidence to hang out with people.
You might be an introvert and still be outspoken and have self confidence.
And hey, being introverted doesn't mean you don't have a sense of humour.
Intelligence does not automatically come with being introverted. It's just that introverts have more time on their hands to do some critical thinking.

But if you are reserved just to press your phone and frustrate your siblings some days of the week for no just reason, you need to reorientate yourself, and start socialising

*I expect everybody to be smart & notice the little things without me having to explain.

*if some1 ask a question that requires too much explanation my answer will be "I don't know" cause i dont wanna talk.

* I hate sharing space with ANYBODY.

* I always notice when some1 touches my stuff.

*if you pay me a visit, bring ur gist with you cause i have nothing to say & feel u won't understand me even if i decided to speak.


*Never being to a party, though once in a while i might have a crush on a lady, i will end up forgetting about her d next day not much of a problem since i will be going to d village for marriage anyways just like my brothers

Bro you need to visit a councillor, there is nothing cool about you. This your character would tend to make you a masturbator and it would directly affect your sex and social life. People don't bite. Don't give a f.uck about what people think about you. Go for interactive section, listen to people and talk when you are absolutely sure to avoid going brain dead in the middle of you talk. First start going out, go to places that would make you restless, like free interactive sections or seminars, checkout eventbrite.com. join Christian youth fellowships in church, take it upon you to greet everyone older than you, interactive greeting, like good evening ma how was work, and so so. Forget about NairalaNd romance section and focus more on self building sections, if you are a student, disturb lecturers with question in an humble way, start talking to your course mates they won't bite you. Be positive, go to joints to relax and forget lounges so many more bro

Sometimes I just get lost in myself, thinking about aliens, space and sh*t,my playlist is really really weird. I'm soft, a Lil bit too soft, been hurt a lot, so I had to put on a protective layer. I leave whatsapp messages unopened for days after I've read the messages on the notification bar, I don't like calls,text me rather. I've got a mean resting b*tch face and with my height and all, I could look a Lil bit domineering. But I'm not. People I've come across say I'm smart and I'm stubborn. I'm Libra by the way. I reason too much, I even lost a boyfriend because he says I over reason, that's funny.

hmm kinda right but I believe I won't av problem with finding a job my certificate would speak,being an introvert has really increased how I think, I find it very difficult to sleep cause am always calculating or creating ideas within my mind, most of my cousin friends though dy are older than me always come to me for Ideas dy know I never lack it. Am working on it though, am trying to be free with people cause being alone is kinda making me imagine crazy things

Being an introvert comes with some down sides, as an introvert I have my own challenges or should I call it excesses lol.
I miss my chances on getting that pretty crush of mine, I fear rejection and I am yet to device a means of handling such when it occurs, even though when the green light is at its peak.
Another one is that I find it hard to maintain closer relationship with people, they complain I don't call them, truth is I prefer texting instead.

I've used to be an introvert ( or I thought i was), though i was always outspoken amongst friends (max i have at a time is 3) until my Undergraduate days, 300L upwards, when people usually say that i have two personalities of which one is great and the other is irritating, i found my self to be an ambivert

Sometimes i can be very jovial, almost talkative in class or in the midst of other crowd. I engage everyone in a discussion and make jokes about almost everyone. One would almost mistake me for a comedian. People love this guy, coupled with the fact that i was among the best in class.

Other days, i will just be on my own, not relating with anyone, just doing my thing. In such cases, I get questions like 'what's wrong?, 'You are not cheerful today' and i will be like 'nothing, I'm fine'. This introvert side of me has caused a lotta misunderstandings especially with the ladies as they expect to always meet that outspoken and jovial guy they kno, and on days I'm not, they will think i am mad at them for something or i am snobbing them, or i just don't want them around.

This lead me to being extra conscious around ladies and try to make my extrovert side available always, a feat i couldn't achieve even with tedious effort. I tried many times to do away with my introvert personality but to no avail. I have stopped trying and have accepted both sides of me.

I do party on occasion and i party hard on such occasions.

I Currently have 3 friends (the highest I've ever had) out if which i frequently communicate with 2 because they contact me frequently. I hardly call my friends. They do most of the calling.

I rarely chat, mostly visit Facebook and Twitter as a ghost (hardly update, comment or tweet)and This is probably my longest post on Nairaland.

As much as i wished (i have stopped wishing) to always be an extrovert, I love the Introvert part of myself as i rarely feel lonely when I'm alone and it gives me ample time to think and plan.

Going out can be so frustrating, annoying, let's just stay at home Eat popcorn and watch movies, wetin i wan use cinema do ....

But it has cost me alot, I have missed opportunities, words I'll rehearse :Din my head, but wouldn't be able to say it out, memories i couldn't gain....I wouldn't want any of my child to be one.....


Introverts don't mind staying in another planet where they can be aliens, the world seems too populated to them
