HIMASHAKTI DRDO latest integrated EW system dedicated for use in mountainous and hilly regions .

this EW system comprises of near to 100 vehicles with similar number of specialized systems dedicated for ECM , ECCM , direction finding , spoofing , jamming comms , disrupting SATCOMs , denying usage of satellite based navigation signals like GPS , GLONASS etc , defeat electronic fuzes of missiles, artillery rounds etc, etc .

much of its capabilities r classified.

it covers a very large EM spectrum , one single complete integrated system with all support elements costs close to 800 million dollars.

DRDO Convoy Jammer system

Convoy Jammer system is designed to mute the Remotely Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs) working in V/UHF bands. The complete frequency band has been subdivided in certain Bands, which includes uniform coverage of V/UHF band leaving no inter band gap in spectrum, along with the coverage of sub bands like GSM, Ex GSM, CDMA, 3G, Wi-Fi etc. The system has been designed to jam all the vulnerable band of the spectrum where the probability of terrorist/ anti-national activities is more. The system uses different jamming techniques as an excitation signal for different bands.

FEATURES

1.VIP protection system
2.Ultra Wide Frequency Coverage
3.Capable to Jam various types of Modulations
4.Wide Band jamming in split bands
5.User Friendly Operation
6.VSWR & Thermal Protection
7.Over Voltage & Under Voltage Protection
8.Charging facility available by AC/DC Converter

DRDO RCIED Jammer

RCIED Jammer System is a broad band transmitting equipment which can be effectively used for muting of wide range of receivers of Remotely Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs). The system operates on the principle of white noise barrage (High speed stepped sweep with white noise) jamming technique. The system is based on ‘Search & Jam’ technique in citizen band with the back drop of barrage jamming over entire frequency range.

FEATURES

1.VIP protection system
2.Wide Frequency Coverage
3.Provides protection against RCIEDs
4.Capable to Jam various types of Modulations
5.User Friendly Operation
6.VSWR & Thermal Protection
7.Over Voltage & under Voltage Protection
8.Charging facility available by AC/DC Converter

DRDO Mini Portable Jammer

Portable Jammer (Hybrid Technology) system is basically a `VIP Protection System'. It is a broad band transmitting equipment which can be effectively used for muting of wide range of receivers of Remotely Controlled Improvised Explosive Devices (RCIEDs) used by anti-national elements. This can be easily carried by the operator to the place of deployment. Wheels are provided for easy movement of the Jammer. This system is quite useful in places like buildings, meeting places, where vehicle-mounted Jammer cannot be deployed.

FEATURES

1.Provides protection against RCIEDs
2.Wide frequency coverage
3.User Friendly Operation
4.VSWR & Thermal Protection.
5.In built battery charging

DRDO Samyukta is a mobile integrated electronic warfare system.

Each system operates on 145 ground mobile vehicles which has three communication and two non-communication segments and can cover an area of 150 km by 70 km.

System has the capability for surveillance, analysis, interception, direction finding, and position fixing, listing, prioritising and jamming of all communication and radar signals from HF to MMW.

This system works to ensure dominance over electro-magnetic spectrum which basically means it will jam enemy surveillance signals and voice and radar signals while ensuring its own signals are not jammed by the enemy. It is described as a force multiplier.

Can't remember the name. The company however has a DFMP signs on her product and some of her products are being tested by various agencies already.

I'll share pictures soon. Their products currently ranges from Communication devices, signal repeaters and Jammer.

My visit there, in their R&grin lab, I could see a banner highlighting some on going projects such as spy camera jammer and some other stuff.

I'll tag you after uploading their products soon. They also have ToT with some foreign companies. I'm to do my internship there so I guess I should be able to provide more pictures and others. The director complained about importing some parts that could have be done in Nigeria.

They own up to 4 patents already.

Nemesis2u please any analysis on tracking mobile calls?

No I don't want them stingrays shiit lol.

For example a group of young kids got kidnapped and then the kidnapper contacts the parents. How do we track the call? Narrow search.

peterphd:

Mr nemesis2u I'm also interested in what you have to say about mobile tracking. Let's say the parents get a call from a number (normal call) and a second case where the caller ID is hidden. By the way, are you Nigerian?

i really am in a fix on how to answer this becz such things r better not discussed and also a end user generally is not concerned about what goes on behind the screen.

let me just say that there r many systems available like

passive GSM monitoring systems , active or semi-active GSM monitoring systems which can intercept voice, SMS etc "off the air" and with the ability to support multiple bands . The target characteristics can then easily be profiled using signal strength and target numbers like IMSI, IMEI or MSISDN including dialed numbers, received numbers etc. ie these system will be capable of extracting all the target cell info like the actual Mobile Number from the network even if caller ID is hidden.

calls can be tracked/monitored even after cell handover. ie the target is mobile and changing locations

these system will also feature selective jamming capability, using which the operator can disable certain services of the target or the victim like outgoing call, incoming call, SMS etc.

eg. the target will try to keep the conversation to minimum with the victim , however the victims cell can me made to go busy or the target cell can be engaged with spam calls as soon as he/she switches his/her cell on, to buy more time for the law enforcement agencies either to fix the location or to nab the caller.

these systems also have the ability to display the location of the target on a map like google map including the BTS location or even plot the various BTS through which the call got routed (if it got routed) . with the approximate location of the target on map , the location of the caller can be narrowed accurately using GSM based direction finders.

these systems also comes with their package of various tools like noise filtering, audio enhancing and amplifying assets to enable forensic analysis eg background noise can give a idea from where the call is being made like sound of a passing train ( means railway station or railway tracks) , something is better than nothing .

then u have voice analysis tool for age detection, gender detection, emotion profiling , tagging speaker mannerism etc

then u have tools to simultaneously monitor and analyze large number of sessions in the targets calculated location. there exists a strong probability that the target might make a different call from another handset , so collecting and analyzing the GSM traffic from the targets area will/might yield critical info.

i hope this will suffice and is based on what little i know , but the fact remains technology is only a enabler, real work is done by the law enforcement agencies as they will have to figure out the vulnerabilities and sniff out the meager leads and analyze them to find the best probable solution/answer.

plz dont quote my post
