bbclue: See the secret here.... We do not need to draft 100pages of SOP before we are sure we've convinced the VO enough (I learnt this very late) Take a look at refusal reasons. Read through them and put on your VO's cap. Address these issues and write a convincing 1 and the half pages of SOP and you are good to go. Abeg try to sleep my sister....e no easy |

Meyson:This issue of misrepresentation is becoming a reoccurring decimal on this thread I think we should be very honest in filling our applications. Also to whosoever that dim it fit to deliberately hide such requested information should be left to face the consequences. This thread is always been derailed by such repeated anomaly and overtime it will not serve the intended purpose.pls I think we should remain focus. To all trv hopefuls good news shall our portion as we enter into the month of August. |

Meyson:True talk bro The forms say 'Have you been denied or refused Visa to Canada and anyother country ,most might be oversight tho and some might be intentional thinking they won't eventually figure out the truth but mehnnnn These CIC people are experts at their jobs!!!!! abelajayi: Someone getting a misrepresentation mail is not derailing the thread. It's all still part of Canadian study visa. And silent followers can also learn from other people application (lack of honesty or mistake). If anyone has misrepresented feel free to talk you. We are hear to listen and help each other out. For those that have not submitted, the first rule of Canadian Visa Application DO NOT LIE. Cheers 2 Likes |

Yomalicious:You are right about it not derailing the thread, my only take is that some applicants intentionally refuse to state they had been denied visa in the past thinking the vo won't know and after they must have been caught come to ask for the way forward. Though I know some few cases here where the applicants stated their previous refusal and still get the misinterpretation message from cic but with that you can respond to the query and be vindicated but in the case those that did it intentionally they should be also bold to face the vo without asking for how to go about it. 1 Like |

Hello. Please I need advice. My fiance wants to go for PhD in chemistry in Canada at Western Ontario University. He has a potential supervisor who has asked him to go ahead and apply against fall of 2018, the department says they give 25k CAD to each international student as funding per year minus the ones from his supervisor or the ones he can apply for himself. He and i are to legally Wed next month September 2017. Now my question is this, can I apply for visa along with him? And do we need to provide sponsor? Keeping in mind that I have been refused visa twice for pgd in Canada twice last year. |

RAY12345: Lolz.. Big No. How does your siblings being in Nigeria compel you to return after your studies? Na only you get siblings ni? 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by mcobex: 3:11pm On Jul 29, 2017 |
Jayne07:Yes you can apply with him but mind you it will require more money (for your own living expenses ). On my own part I will advise he applies alone first and after getting his own you can apply for yours (him applying alone without you will help tackle hometie issue). Aspa him using a sponsor it's not compulsory if his funding covers(with excess) his tuition and living expenses, but to be on a safer side he also needs to have some cash in his own personal bank account and ensure to explain in details in his sop everything about his scholarship from the school and what it covers. Gurus in the house should explain better 3 Likes |

bbclue:I was going to ask if one could put photocopies of landed property documents, car documents and CAC instead of the original if I submit through paper, as they aren't mine and my sponsor might be in need of them at any time. 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by wealth360: 4:42pm On Jul 29, 2017 |
IFY200:in addition to what he said. You should submit all original letters addressed to the embassy and your Letter of admission should be original also. |
