I am trying to find a striker who can convert every chance he gets in a game. Even the almighty Costa usually plays rubbish ,misses chances after chances sometimes before scoring a goal. With all the bashing batshuayi is getting one will think there is a striker out there who can convert all the chances he gets in a game.

When you say do well in the Ucl, what do you mean by do well? Do you mean win it or qualify out of the group stages or get to the semis or finals? What exactly is your expectation(s)?

I sincerely think you are missing the point here. This is not about what I believe in or not. It is strictly about the players that are available to us, and the players we are likely to start the season with.

Truly speaking,no matter what our personal preference maybe, I fully expect morata to start each match ahead of batshuayi. It is that simple for me. One can not pay that much money for a striker and he won't start every game. However, it is left for the Conte to decide if he wants to pair them or move one of them to the flanks that is,if he wants them both to start a game.

What I am tired of reading here is the bashing you specifically give to batshuayi. Everyone is aware he is not the perfect fit or replacement for Costa in the team. However, the boy has been doing is best whenever he is called upon. If he is my preferred striker, No! Except you want Remy to replace him,i can't see how you bashing batshuayi is helping anyone here.

Chelsea is not like arsenal who never won ucl and can accept average performance from her top striker. Chelsea is a big team and should not be parading average players in europe. Check our ucl winning team, you will know the reason you need to raise your standard. Almost everyone here bashed costa when he was breaking our attacking moves, i dont know why pointing out basic errors of a big team striker should give you headache. If costa played like batshuayi today i can bet, you wouldnt be saying we should take it easy. Are you not hungry for success in ucl? Even if we dont win it, a respectable performance is enough. How many chances do you think will fall on batshuayi's laps before he could score if we play top teams in europe? Conte is saying morata needs to improve, this was what some chelsea fans were criticising me for when i said morata would be a waste of funds, he hasnt got what we need. Anyone who knows how chelsea thrived over the years will understand where i was coming from. There are errors you dont expect from strikers in a big team. If we can criticise lukaku's first touch, so we should keep quiet when batshuayi is running with the ball to a blocked space losing possession, exposing the team to counter, which the likes of barca, madrid and co will use to nail us. I should turn a blind eye when he balloons the ball under little pressure. If you could bash costa, why shouldnt you bash batshuayi for doing same? If you think conte is happy with the materials he has as top strikers, you are deceiving yourself.

Tell me what else you can do if the club says they are not buying another striker? Will you bench them both and play rudiger as a striker bcuz I am not following why you are assuming I am ok with what we hv cuz I am not complaining.

Plus cfc didn't even have the best of players when we won our ucl bruv. The team that lost to manU was way better. Even the one that lost to liverpool in semis. I think you are making a mistake by assuming we must have the best of legs in all positions to be able to excel.

Aspa conte not being happy with the squad,it is perfectly understandable. I have not seen anyone who is entirely ok or happy with the squad depth we have at the moment. I am sure you can see the challenges on ground aspa transfers. It is not just affecting cfc alone,manU,arsenal(Wenger factor too),etc. So chill and support the players we have for now instead of trying to pull them down.

That excerpt from Conte's press conference might mean that Conte might go ahead and buy another striker (certainly not a big money signing)

3-5-2 might be our main formation for this coming season..cause I don't think conte trusts playing morata as a lone striker.
