Another question please. Regarding finance, at what rate does CIC do their conversion in knowing if you have enough funds for study. Is it at CBN rate of 252Naira/CAD or at PTA rate from Nigerian banks at about 300Naira/CAD?? |

I was just going to ignore this until I saw that you don't want to read up from beginning of the thread. Do you realise that we all read up??! Do you also know there is something called google?! You want information but you don't want to work hard to get it?! I don't understand most of you guys on here especially the newbies. You come and post questions that have already been answered in previous threads and expect us to sound like a broken record, repeating answers. That is why the white men said if you want to hide something from a black man put it in a book and be rest assured that they won't read it. But I'm really glad that most of us black people are excelling and exceeding their expectations of us. Everyday we are getting goodnews of high flying men and women on this thread that really gladens my heart, all because they made a choice to work hard and get things done!!! So don't be that black man that refused to read. Better start reading up. blueblood1: 11 Likes |

To be on the safe side use 300 NGN/CAD A banker told me some months ago that it was 350 NGN/CAD in black market. I felt that was a lie because I've never heard of that rate before. It was just too high. So stick to 300 NGN/CAD. Better higher than lower. So that when they check, they'd see that you have extra/excess funds. lordjayabs: 1 Like |

Cscd1234:Firstly Happy New month sir/ma Honestly speaking sir/ma it didn't amount to this, If the said moniker didn't get a response or total silence on his post it would have been better than the crucifixion.... I'm certain he mit not rely only on information given to him here and might just be surfing the net only to stumble here and drop his questions for experienced people .. If we can't help or profer solutions we should just fold our arms and watch!!!!!! Haba... Make person read 500pages.. Not even a reference or a link.... Nawa... 4 Likes |

Good morning folks, So i wanted to be sure, Today I want to submit my application for the paper route, Do I still need passport photographs if i am going to do Bio metric, and Am i going to submit all my original document copies.. Cheers |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Cscd1234: 9:54am On Aug 01, 2017 |
If you interpret my telling him to go and read up as "tearing him down and glorifying myself" then that's just sad. Because if you really read my post, you'd see that I In no way attempted to GLORIFY myself or talk about my personal experience or successes. It's not personal. Just as the gurus have said before, read up then ask questions after reading up. Yomalicious: 2 Likes |

Yes you'd need passport photographs. I think 2 or so. There's a permitted size for Canadaian study visa application. So check CIC website for the size or simply go to the vfs and take another one. (It would be more expensive) For your originals, they need only originals Of bank statements and one other thing that I don't remember. Your results, land properties papers etc should be photocopied. Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Cscd1234: 10:17am On Aug 01, 2017 |
Yes you'd need to. Although I have seen on this thread, some people say that you can go and tell the vfs people that you want to hold on to your passport and state the reason why. Then you'd need to make a photocopy of all the pages in your passport. But if you don't have any urgent need for your passport anytime soon, then no worries, just submit it with the rest of the documents. Also I suggest you take originals and photocopies of your documents and maybe ask the lady or man attending to you which one should be sent as original and which one should be sent as photocopy. But I'm very sure that your results, land documents and CAC documents DO NOT need to be submitted as originals. (Only photocopies would be enough) Nolongthang: 1 Like |

Everybody just dey kpara... Una dey disturb my sleep. However, on a more serious note. I think people should do themselves a service by first seeking answers to their questions first on google and similar search engines. After which, they can bring these answers for further deliberation and suggestions. It will be kind of awkward if we start responding to individual questions that have readily available answers on google and other similar search engines. If you are interested in a programme and require information about that programme, try using google. Narrow your search words and answers will pop up. Now, if this answers confuse you or you need a second opinion, you can table your search results here and we all can deliberate and help you with suggestions. About reading previous parts/threads. It is totally doable. It all depends on what you want and how far you are willing to go to get what you want. Nobody is busy, it just depends on your priorities. If going to Canada to study is important to you, you will definitely allocate a large chunk of your time to ensure you get there. So people, please help yourselves to help us help you. It will end in praises for us all. This my phone sef... 13 Likes |
