Gracee101:No. You can do it yourself just that the problem is from you. Either you have forgotten some information you submitted and entered. Please if you have a copy of the IMM 1249 form you submitted go through it again and be sure what you filled b4 is in line withwhat you are filling to link online. |

Prisscindy:I believe a comprehensive medical exams is expected to be carried out and will ofcourse indicate the pregnancy. However, being pregnant will NOT affect processing of the applicant's application as there is no basis of refusing an application on grounds of being pregnant but since the primary intention of an applicant should be to study, she will have to convince the VO that her primary intention is to study and not to have a child in a disguise of study even though she can have her baby while studying. She should declare that she is pregnant.(This will add credibility to her assesment. They will still find out) The VO's decision will be on how she has been able to establish herself as a bonafide student who will genuinely study and leave canada at the end of the temporary stay and not because of the pregnancy. She will have to do a good job convincing because her case is perculiar. She may also have to prove to the VO that adequate preparation is/will be on ground( additional funds,Plans for antenatal, additional health care plans, etc) should she eventually deliver the baby as she studies. She should be truthfull as possible if she applies before having the baby. The VO will use his/her discretion to then consider her application. She can as well have the baby first before applying but then, she will have to nurse the baby and if she intend going for study, there will be a burden too to convince the VO on how she will cope with the infant. Difficult situations but surmountable. 3 Likes |

Hello house, I am new on this platform and I am impressed by what I'm seeing here. My study permit application is about to exceed the normal processing time. Is it better to send a case specific enquiry (cse) or to send an email to CIC or both. In the case of an email, what is the correct email address I can use to contact the embassy? To all gurus in the house please advice. |

Prisscindy: She should disclose her pregnancy at the medical centre. i read somewhere (seems the medical centre where i had mine) that concealing such vital info doesnt affect your chances of getting your permit and it should be disclosed so as not to expose the foetus to dangerous rays while having x-rays etc 4 Likes 1 Share |

Gracee101: This happened to me too and then I realised I only put in one of my given names because I saw "given name" and not "given name(s)". So there's a possibility that you may have omitted an information which you gave in your paper application. Just try and remember every single detail/information you put in for your paper application and fill them in on your online application and I'm sure it will link. 1 Like |

Hello Everyone. If someone who had traveled to South Africa in 2015, was denied visa in 2017 and didn't state it in his application, Is it possible to write the Visa office via this email, Accra@international.gc.ca telling them about it and that you didn't see it on form before application? Please your urgent response is needed. Thanks everyone |

@Markab Whether it not she does upfront medicals, the number of weeks she is would be stated so she can't form ignorance. Let her better report herself and tell the visa officer how she plans to study and give birth and care for the baby. REPORT YOURSELF and show them you can handle it. You won't be the first. Cheers |
