Oben209: Hi there, When did u try making this payment. Recently, GTB increased their international payment from 100 to 1000USD a month. So with a GTB Master card, u should be good to go. Better still, open a GTB USD Dom Acc and fund it. Get a card for the Dom Acc and pay for it. It should be okay. Regards. |

MrMarc:I stated it in my application that I am actually working as supervisor in my dad's bakery (though I ddnt add employment letter cos I dont have any but can provide one incase VO requests for it). Its not actually only my brother that will cover my expenses. My father will help. We just submitted only his bank statement to prove I have more than enough funds to cover my 1st year of study according to what CIC website clearly states. I can't pay tuition now because Brandon Uni said I can pay during my registration. I don't know if its better to email the school that VO needs me to pay my tuition now or just leave it amd let things just flow naturally. Its since I saw this thread that I learnt people also submit landed property. Plus during my bros finland visa app, he ddnt even submit financial status or landed properties but still got his visa. I am just hoping on God now. He can make the impossible possible 2 Likes |

OdeyemiAdekunle: Your app isn't that bad...but can be improved! 1. Try to defer your admission to create time for reapplying trv Finance.. 2. It is good you paid your fees..now the living expenses is the issue. If yoursponsor has jst about 4M and you take out 2.5M or 3M i.e CAD10,000 meaning she has jst 1M to live off which doesn't sound cool. Get a co-sponsor (if she cant meet up the below statement) this time around and have your living expenses transfered to your account and state it clearly on your SOP. Have extra 1M aside the living expenses (flights & Miscellaneous). You paid your fees, have you living expenses in your account. Then get the fund export letter from your bank saying you have no restrictions to access the fund from Canada Home tie: This is the "proposed lenght of stay" I have always been of the opinion that siblings and parents aint strongly enof home tie except maybe one is used to travelling and returning or applying from another country as a resident or student. However, If you can't get a job from your aunts firm and get an introduction letter and leave letter, Then further state that as the only son and in your native tradition you are to inherit all your parents have including family business and need to be accessible as your custom and tradition demands. Also get a consent letter from your parents permitting you to travel for your 1yr study. (Note: Do the same even if you get the Job offer letter) Let your SOP summaries all this very strongly. Before i forget...Pls dont stop using agents for visa applications...they try desperately to get you visa and get the rest of there money even if it means falsifying documents. I have friends who were banned cos of info the filled in U.S visa app not corresponding to the one for Canada because they don't evn know what the previous agent filled. Anyone would be far knowledgeable than this agents if the read this thread from even part 8-12. Me self don turn Visa agent self thanks to this thread and other similar ones Finally, It is only by HIS GRACE! #PrayToGodAlmighty 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Odeyemi. .....how much is your tuition fee..2...room and board fee....3...others.....that aspect need to be calculated very well.....and that will determine what will be in your sponsored account and your sponsor must have something left that will be enough for him....... You read guidance and counselling. ......look for another program related to what you study ....and you can reapply |

choky26: Please pay your tuition and reapply for TRV again, including the receipt. It cannot be overemphasized, add landed document and show why it's important to induce your return back to Nigeria. Many include landed documents just for the sake of it and expect the VO to decipher by some telepathic knowledge that they would inherit it. Please explain any landed document not in your name and why you believe it's a factor to make you come back to Nigeria. Getting a visa to Finland is different from getting one to Canada. As far as I am concerned, Canada is becoming the hardest visa to get, getting harder than getting an American visa. Plus it may be long that your brother got a visa to Finland? Things were a lot less stringent in the past. The times they are changing. Everything is becoming more difficult. Good luck. 4 Likes |

Simplicity is a virtue. I am noticing that people who make their application short and concise and straight to the point, get approved quicker. I was in pm with this guy from NL who didn't even submit SOP, but his documents were straightforward and he has been approved. Please people lets make our applications simple and straightforward. You wonder why so long of a waiting time? Think no further. It's the extraneous documents submitted by people. I feel we should have a list of dos and donts. Don't be submitting pictures of your car or titles as factors to induce your return. Don't submit family portraits and pictures, simply include birth certificates to prove a point. Don't sound desperate to go to Canada in your SOP. Avoid begging the VO to approve your application. Stay off from the mentioning of Jesus and God in your SOP. The VO would not be predisposed to give you a visa just because you are religious. They may actually misconstrue your motif if you do. Let the facts speak for themselves should always be your one rule of thumb as you submit your application. Good luck. 13 Likes |

choky26: Okay got ya. I thought you were denied already. God forbid. Please email them your land documents and include all bank statements of sponsors. Not only one bank statement. Wait for CIC. If they want you to pay they would ask you to do. If they ask you to pay, it's a great sign that they want to approve your application. |

chimah3: Many thanks for the response, however, i need clarification on the sponsorship. My sponsor will only be taking care of the living expense with a monthly stipends of about $1600 while i take care of my tuition and other logistics. will this pose a problem considering my circumstance? Let me list my concerns/circumstance again: i. I have an HND ii. Over 40 iii. Have a family with wife gainfully employed iv. Have over 10 years work experience v. have properties (land, automobiles) worth over N12m vi. Have Pension account with balance in excess of N3m vii. Have shares in stock worth over N2m viii. Plan pushing funds into my mutual fund account to the tune of N3m ix. Sponsor (inlaw) lives and works in europe (not sure of her monthly take home as a clinical staff) x. Currently work as head of a unit in consulting firm. xi. I am applying for a professional programme that runs for 12 months inclusive of about four months internship All these put together, will they pose a concern for denial? 1 Like |

jnyuwa02: Boss, I salute you... Even birth certificates (of siblings), except needed to prove relationship with sponsors, should be avoided. Everything you said above...is straight on point. Let those who have eyes and ears, see and hear. Include only relevant documents. 4 Likes 1 Share |

buggi102kruse:Why are people submitting their transcript to VO? I thought transcript was only meant to be submitted to the school u are applying to for them to give u admission? Ur degree certificate is enough No need submitting things that are not required for study permit and implicating urself in the process 2 Likes |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by buggi102kruse: 11:12am On Aug 02, 2017 |
Moley22:Thanks so much bro! My fear is if they see variations in the age that might be easy way to refusal. It's only my passport that has this age, ssce is NECO so no age written on it. If only embassy will accept degree certificate without asking transcript or having access to it, I think I will be good |
