Thats a 8.3L V8 viper engine powered in a DODGE RAM churning out 510hp, when you DODGE the BULLET and RAM into the COPS, like a bull on the loss grin

these Americans will never learn, when you are not towing an aeroplane. The hilllux with the 2.7liter 2tr engine is easily embraced for better fuel economy

It is the ram killed by Muslim during ileya festival that has random access memory embedded in its skull.

Please, why Americans love these pick up too much? Wen an average Nigeria will still be asking u how fuel economical is Toyota Corolla? Is there a stairway to heaven?
Re: What's The Name Of This Truck? by Nobody: 1:34pm On Aug 02, 2017
Fuel is cheap here so we don't worry about gas as much.

I've never ever considered mpg when buying cars but always opt for the biggest engine available.

Even my 4Runner in Naija is a V6 not an I4.

No one has time for molasses slow a$$ cars.

Not common engine at all and you'll hardly see it used as a commuter, mostly at car shows.

Compare the price of the Ram 1500 V6, fuel economy and the price of your Hilux 2.7 then what ever money is left over from the price you pay for your Hilux in Nigeria how many more years do you think I will drive the Ram 1500 without buying fuel.

The hilux is not available in the USA.
Besides you only live once.
The Hilux is also available in v6 and I'd pick the v6 over the lousy 4cylinder that sounds like mazda bus under acceleration.

We Nigerians too like awoof . We don't want to spend anything.
You'd see a Nigerian buying a prius and not use the ac telling you it will consume more fuel.
If it's not corolla then it's not a car. Their Thought angry

And it's not like v6 engines are gas guzzlers. They are very nice on fuel economies . But the 4cyl are just slightly better .

Even GAZZUZZ prefer i4. Him self they calculate like Lukaku.

They don't even know how to extract power from all that big pot.
You would see Europeans churning out 350 ponies or more from a 4-litre without turbos, Americans needing 6 litres or more.
At least, Ford is learning from their European operations & downsizing.

I'm glad you noticed too, in the near future, 4cylinders with turbo chagers will rule
Re: What's The Name Of This Truck? by Readonee35L(m): 8:56pm On Aug 02, 2017
Everyone shouting 4cylinder turbos.

But do you even know that does big hp numbers doesn't mean the cars are really fast.
Most turbos kick in at high rpm.
How about torque Turbo lag E.t.c and other factors.

Forced induction (Supercharger or Turbocharger) are better in bigger engines v6 and above.
A 4cylinder turbo will definitely break if pushed very very hard. And most of them won't even achieve 300k miles before you start spending cash to fix them.

I still prefer a 3.5L 300hp v6 than a 2.0T i4 churning 300hp.

Check out the Hyundai Theta 2 engine throwing bighp. How well does it perform in the field.?

I just feel so sorry for benz ditching the 6.2L v8 for a 5.5L turbo cry

Honda has also ditched their 3.5L j35 v6 for a 2.0T .
The j35 v6 will definitely be missed because that engine is a symbol in the Honda Lineup

No replacement for displacement.

I've owned Pontiac Trans AM 5.7 liter V8, Mitsubishi Evolution 2.2 I4 turbo, current car is a Mini Cooper S with turbo.

Let's be realistic here. Powerband of a small turbo engine is different from a big block engine.

Not saying one is better or worse than the other but different strokes for different folks.

your angle is dully noted, and accpeted. Sadly every one is going green, and manufactures are trying to cut down emmisions.

Fossil powered and electric cars will leave side by side for centuries on, don't believe the hype. Sure yes manufacturers will not "manufacture" new cars with gas engines but you can always get brand new engines from the aftermarket, get complete new shells from the aftermarket.

The only true ban is when government bans fossil fuel cars on highways - that day will never come, not in this lifetime.

How is Tesla getting all the parts for the cars to the factory? Not by electric cars, planes or trains grin

But make una forget about all that nonsense, your fans wants to know how many Orijin so far today? grin

Audi's 4.2L V8.
Okay, I may have exaggerated a little grin, but while the Europeans (even some Asians) put out about 75+ hp/litre, Americans are more like 50, though getting better.
