buggi102kruse:I still suggest you get a Sworn affidavit of declaration of age from the court, Include it because correcting age is no easy process.... Besides it would be useful later even if you don't include it in your Visapp! |

buggi102kruse:you can submit ur result instead of transcript and it will be accepted. Secondly for future reference go and get an affidavit in court stating your real age and that your school made a mistake with the one on your transcript. |

choky26:Sometimes this is necessary, for instance, in a situation where you had to specialize during your undergraduate studies and then you wanna proceed to do a masters in the course you specialized in, you need to show the VO that you have taken the courses through your transcript. Sometimes people have reasons for submitting specific documents, every application is different. 3 Likes |

Hmy2015: Yeah but if it's financial reasons, why didn't they ask for tuition payment and export funds or something |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by MrMarc: 12:35pm On Aug 02, 2017 |
choky26: Just for reference purposes... The VO doesn't know you. All he knows is what you put before him. And as far as i know...whatever claim you make to them without proof is void especially the finance and employment aspects. If you can send all this documents talked about here without being asked by the V.O the better for you. You are judged by the documents presented...do so beyond every doubt. Finally no one should ever get trv denial for a visa application you don't need a face to face interview. It is as simple as that. 1 Like |

choky26:Submitting transcripts is a requirement as per the visa office instructions. Although some people have gotten their study permit approved by showing either their statement of result or the official result(photocopy). However, all past educational documents are required for visa processing. If an applicant have all documents, he/she should do well to submit them. Thankfully, they only require photocopies. 1 Like |

Alantobie: Who was your sponsor, what was the relationship? I feel it has gotten to the time sponsors should start sending money to applicants oh if it's not your parent sponsoring What do you think? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by likeababygirl: 12:44pm On Aug 02, 2017 |
OdeyemiAdekunle:Hi, Do not be in a rush to apply to schools and all that stuff. Although you weren't detailed enough when you shared your profile, your proposed course isn't related to your previous study. Your finances are kinda also not sufficient. I think you should take your time. Start by emailing your school and ask for a refund of your tuition. The earlier the better cos some schools can like to drag it. Then get a course that is related to your undergraduate degree. If you have a good cgpa, try to get a masters degree admission. Also about finances, make sure you have an idea of what the tuition fee is. so you won't be shocked when you find out it's high up there. You might need to get a co sponsor. All in all, take your time so that your next application will be successful. All the best. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by likeababygirl: 12:50pm On Aug 02, 2017 |
MrMarc:Hmm. Isn't this the most difficult? I personally feel people deduce different meanings from what they read as opposed to you having the chance to explain what your documents mean. 1 Like |

Alantobie:Sometimes insufficient funds is a broad reason for different money related issues. It might not be the amount in the account. It could be lump some of money, unexpained source of income and a lot of stufff like that. This is why the caips note is important. 2 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Austinpee4: 12:58pm On Aug 02, 2017 |
Alantobie:Sorry about the outcome of your application. Sometimes, insufficient funds could mean many things. 1. No sufficient proof of relationship to sponsor. 2. Lump sum deposit without proof/ explanation of source. 3. Low probablity of funding subsequent year of study. 4. Lack of proof of sponsor's source of income. While your mum will be considered a credible sponsor, they may be circumstances surrounding her financial capabilities which you didn't take not of. These refusal reasons are the easiest to tackle. Before you reapply, i strongly suggest you order for your Immigration file(GCMS). A very ridiculous reason could have led to this outcome. So get it. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

McOsheBaba: As it is, no matter the explanation you give, it will be refused. Recall that in one of the sectons, before where you entered your passport no et al, you were asked if "you were able to communicate in English or French". And even on your questionnaire, you were also asked, "Is English or French your first language" which I am sure you answered in the affirmative. The question to them now is, if you were able to communicate in English, how come you couldn't read the question that asked if you were denied visa to canada or any other country. This is an auto 5-year ban for misrepresentation. At all, let us all read the questions very well, if possible, thrice, before answering. My 5-cent 1 Like |

Alantobie:Emmm, the length of processing as stipulated by canadian immigration law for immigration file is 30days. Sometimes it could be longer but a written notification will be sent to the applicant in this case. So you should give a month for processing of your file. Here is a link to order. http://gcmsnow.com. Also, if you can get anybody resident in canada to help you order, it's way cheaper at C$5. |
