If there is something I admire about Bishop Oyedepo. It is his radical belief in young people. He gives responsibilities that are almost unbelievable to young people.

I mean who uses a young trained pilot as personal pilot without a career experience.

Or allow 'inexperienced' CU Architecture students in designing the biggest church auditorium in the world(faith theatre) and every other building that comes up in the university and presumably other universities and projects being handled by the commission.

He did this same thing in Covenant university when he bypassed over 95 professors to appoint Dr. Oludayo(who was then youngest registrar) as registrar-how that didn't cause dissent, I don't know.

I myself has been skeptical about some of his choices. Especially using a pilot without career experience or using certified but inexperienced CU Architects for a project reportedly worth 40 billion(faith theatre) and 700 billion(canaancity)

But at least I have never seen any negative consequence to those choices he makes. Infact most young ppl he uses are excellent at the job he assigns them.
That is why they said it's not about age but about wisdom(God's wisdom). If only we do same in this our country, Nigeria woul have been a better place for all of us. But we choose to use people that are old enough to be our ancestors, people that we value their Nepa bill instead of their certificate. We choose hypocrisy not minding the dangers it will result. We choose ethnicity and Religion not looking at ability to deliver or one's charisma. We choose to travel abroad for medical check up, not improving our own medical centres. Youths should wake up to their responsibilities. Enough of all these nonsense in the name of politics.

No merit whatsoever in this. They keep circulating appointments amongst the church members. The vc is a church member, the registrar, bursar, deans and directors.etc.

If he had competed and got the job in a public university, or another sch not owned by oyedepo, I would have applauded.

Also, by his yr of graduation, he's not qualified to be registrar anywhere...

Again, is he an academic or an administrator....

The Board of Regents, Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Kwara State, has appointed Dr. Azubuike Ezenwoke as the new Registrar of the University.

Dr. Ezenwoke who recently bagged his doctoral degree at Covenant University was until his appointment, the Dean of Students, Covenant University, Ota; Landmark’s sister university also owned by the same proprietor, the Living Faith Church Worldwide (aka Winners’ Chapel).

At 32, Dr. Ezenwoke arguably is the youngest university Registrar in Africa.



A 2007 First-Class graduate of Computer Science at Covenant University, Dr. Ezenwoke was the first graduate of Covenant University to be appointed the Dean of Students two times in the same university, 2011 and 2016.

In his undergraduate days, he was the Chairman, Students Council, what is referred to as Student Union Government in other universities.

He teaches undergraduate classes Computer Programming I (C Language), Computer Programming II (C++ Language), Internet Programming, Introduction to Problem Solving, Structured and Sequential Programming (Python) among others.

Dr. Ezenwoke is married with children.

Can you imagine someone typing that? To go and 'audit' a Nigerian university awarded Ph.D abroad just for a non consequential (childish) tag of 'foreign champion'.

***Covenant And Landmark University are both affliated with the Church but not owned by the Winners Chapel. I don't think affliated and owned have the same legal interpretation.
***A lecturer teaching 5 undergrad courses I'm sure he has masters students under his Supervision as well. I hope this work reduces now that he's a Dean.

The two universities are completely owned by winners chapel. To ur second point, that he lectures 5 undergraduate courses doesn't mean he would be assigned to those courses each session. A session where he has administrative responsibilities might see the university reduce his academic one, to maybe two courses or so as the university sees fit.
