Hello Everyone,
So im researching grants and scholarships that foreign students can benefit from, such as the
Borso di studio
Laziodisu
MAECI
some of this grants are for specific schools. You can google them and see what comes up.

I understand that other grants such as accommodation busary etc can be gotten over there in Italy IF you have the ISEE Parificato
Please if you have any info about this (especially those who are currently in school in Italy) pls kindly share

I am currently looking into getting the documentation for reciveing the ISEE Parificato in Italy, Kindly see the attached.
https://www.studenti.unige.it/tasse/iseeuparificato/en/
it states that some documentation needs to be shown over there in Italy
-Personal data
-foreign incomes (regarding the year 2015)
-foreign properties and financial assets (regarding the year 2016)
-The documentation must be:
-Issued by the competent offices in the country in which the incomes have been produced;
translated into Italian by the competent Italian Diplomatic or International students

1. how can these documents be gotten here in Nigeria? someone said Income returns from the Tax office, some other person said from Commissioner of oaths' who did the income declaration, family unit, etc

Does anyone know the procedure or has anyone done this in the past for getting the documents for ISEE certification in NIGERIA?

Anybody that has a knowledge on how to go about this kindly shed light. So that self-sponsored(God sponsored) guys can learn a thing or two on how to reduce financial burdens through programs like this when we get to school.

I applied September last year and its for masters, no dov, no translation nothing
It's sort of different with Private schools really. As these are not really regulated by the Government. Not as stressful as studying at a Politecnico of a funded state university

We are now in August. Has anyone been granted student visa or denied visa yet? Please share your story.

Counting, this is 8 days since I applied at VFS and I am still waiting for update. All I can see while tracking my visa progress via VFS website is that my document is still being processed at the Italian embassy. I forgot to tick one item on my visa form... the type of visa, all because vfs application form carries visa C and no visa D. Will that be costly? I no dey smile anymore. What about your story progress?

lol....... 8 days and your complaining mine is almost 4 weeks still under processing and even those that applied directly at the embassy were not given date for collection. So bros welcome to italian embassy of Benin, where everything is not straight forward. Besides are you to fill type of visa or for official use only?

Good one, I must tell you. cool I think your prospective school have stake in the startup scene there. Ecosystem is at infant stage in Italy compared to U.K and likes of Republic of Ireland; this maybe a pro or con for you, depending on your long term goals. You may join the community and if you want to launch a startup, you may establish in Italy and have international mindset. But the startup scene there is growing.

All in all, I would be looking forward to welcoming you to Rome, if I am still in town when you come. smiley

Alright thanks. I want to ask you a question though, my tuition fees is wholly funded by the school and my programme is just for one year. is a 3 million Naira bank statement enough for my student visa application? Also I will need your personal contact details.

Since you are fully funded by the school, 3M should be okay. You only need fund for living and accommodation expenses, which I believe your 3M will be more than sufficient.

All the best, brother. smiley

I don't think it matters. I filled mine via VFS website and its the visa C form. What matters is that you are able to fill the form online and print it out without having to fill it with hand. And its the form C you can do that on VFS site. They embassy will decide which visa type to give you eventually I guess!
