Kazim88: Everyone wants to leave but they are pushing the Igbo's to make the first move. If a plan to absorb these ppl are explained to them, many if not most will return back home within a week while some will wait to sell of the remaining properties. I know many made mistakes by investing so much in the north but we should not continue to blame them for a decision made before uwazurike even thought of Biafra again. |

woodcook: Yes I am a Sabo because I care about my people while u care about Biafra. yes I am a Sabo because I know how many will die when they finally leave the north because of loss of properties and lives. Yes I am a Sabo because I know the difference between genocide and killing. Yes I am a Sabo because u refused to blame okorocha for not pushing the lady's case but we keep blaming other ppl. See, if u cannot proffer a solution on how to accommodate the millions returning, then u don't have a point pls. |

backtosender: Fortunately, I do not stay in the north anymore. I was only there for a project and I came out. based on being a serious Igbo man I parleyed with our people there and I can tell you what they face everyday. its not like people from the village care for them so much, they do not have a job in the east. how do u plan to keep those large number of ppl coming back home like that. |

realhumanity: We have offered a solution give us referendum Still all the trash you typed above did not in any way answered the question of why didn't you write a "thesis" on the senseless killing of Igbo woman recently up North? Or the hate speech made by the Oba of Lagos, or the hate speech made by Dr Adeniran Abraham Ariyo call for the massacre of Igbos ? Until you show me your "thesis" on these issues you are nothing but a sabo Sabo like I said earlier IPOB has proffer solution and the solution is give us referendum, chikena! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Sabo where were you and your call for peace when a Lagos Oba was spewing hate speech? Sabo where were you when Dr Adeniran Abraham Ariyo called for the massacre of Igbos ? There are too many mentally ill, crude, needlessly rude people on Nairaland. None more so that these IPOB touts. What was so offensive in the level-headed original post that prompted all the insults flying around? |

realhumanity: U are sound like tgise people dont have where they came from in the east. Dude this is not in the olden days... Wen people ar still in d dark When they distroyed igbos properties and it ended like that. Bliv me that cant happen again.. The wolrd has gone vast so is the igbo nation. If they tried such agin.. they would be sued. It seems u think ipob is only abt those ones in d village.. u think ipob is "FILLED WITH ILLITERATE" like our enemies always say..( lol thats funny ). U will be suprised to know there are igbo lawyers and doctors in diaspora who are supporting kanu And whose videos i have seen. It seems u dnt watch kanu interviews. Becox already bliv he is wrong and bad.. What the media painted him and what they want u to bliv about him. IGBO PROPERTIES OUTSIDE IGBOLAND ARE 100% SAFE I GUARANTEE U. 1 Like |

Most of our brothers living in the north do not see far, I was there in Kaduna in in 1998 to year 2000 when the sharia riot took place two times. Despite that I was making money on my uncles hotel, but I said to myself, this is not a place to stay & invest. I came back to east. Bleep one Nigeria! @OP, come back now, & u are still there writting nonsense Why investing in a region that do not invest in yours? 2 Likes 1 Share |

realhumanity: So if Emeka in Onitsha said something bad against Hausa/Fulani then Hausa/Fulani inThe North should kill every Emeka and Uche living amongst them and you are here to justify it? Stay in the north and enjoy your cheap accommodation, cheap suya and cheap Sabon gari ashawos at the expense of your life. 2 Likes 1 Share |

woodcook: Who will you give you referendum when you dont want it? Has any of your reps, senators, governors call for it? |
Re: Appeal To My Igbo Brothers by Nobody: 1:46pm On Aug 06, 2017 |
FriendNG: I like your question. The problem is that most people have failed to understand that the call for referendum is a call for dissolution of the present elite class. It is not necessarily a case of the Igbos against others like most people misunderstood it to be or like the Nigerian media has been painting it. Being a call for war against the poor vs the rich the elites will never call for it and will do everything to maintain status quo . So the SE reps and senators and governors are benefiting from the current arrangement and will hardly do anything to upturn it. If only Nigerian youths could understand that this a call for class-war and join in asking for referendum believe me our elected officials will sit up and we will experience real changes that will affect the lives of the masses positively across the nation. 1 Like |

Ojiofor: You have a problem with understanding my comment. Emeka is learned and understands the beauty of life but Sule is uneducated, wasn't cared for and under the care of a radical northerner. We need to study the philosophy of other people before we engage them. Igbo's have more to lose if we fight with these people. Stop acting like you won't care when you start seeing riots in the north. |
Re: Appeal To My Igbo Brothers by Marcelo290(m): 1:50pm On Aug 06, 2017 |
realhumanity, I perfectly understand your post cos I've lived and still have my people staying in the North, Even though I'm presently in the South East. I've also tried time without number to explain this to them, buh the mentality of those of them here who haven't moved out of the confines of the zone leaves me worried. Majority of them don't care what happens to those in the North, they keep chanting "come back home" like it's that easy leaving a place you have settled and your source of livelihood to come back and live in poverty and penury. Ask them how many they can house, or if East can contain everyone that comes back and watch how they dodge the questions and tongue lash you with insults, it's so unfair, we are meant to be our brothers keepers and reason like one, an attack on one igbo is an attack on all the igbo nation, we must learn to uphold the legacy we are known for. Lastly, this is not an avenue for skull miners and other igbo haters to vent their hatred, rather, look for for sustainable means of solving your own many problems. This also doesn't change our ideology about Biafra. |

Amarabae:Where do you reside? |
Re: Appeal To My Igbo Brothers by realhumanity: 1:56pm On Aug 06, 2017 |
Ikology: The solution is we first create schools for their children in the east. Let them start staying in the east. When their kids are no longer with them, they see no reason building houses or more investment here because their minds will always be where their children are. With the increase of children to the east, business men who are into kids and adolescent products will see a booming market in the east and go back too. I have more plans but they cannot be written here. I just showed you how to push the first set of traders home. |
Re: Appeal To My Igbo Brothers by Nobody: 1:58pm On Aug 06, 2017 |
FriendNG: I understand your faith in present day Nigeria but given the current political structure that is not going to happen. Since 1999 till date same old folks has been recycling themselves and funny enough the power brokers in Nigeria will never let someone outside their cycle to get close to power. Even if they throw one in as a means of pleasing the masses they circle such up with their hordes of scavengers to ensure that that person does not amount to anything good while in office. 1 Like |
