yomcy2016: This is unprecedented. Once application has been submitted, there is no known process of withdrawing. But only my opinion. |

What wait are we talking about? As if we are going on a personal business trip. Most of us have less than a month to resume for studies. Yet no medical, and even if some submitted upfront, they haven't submitted passport. In fact they won't say they don't know what they are doing. If they lost our app during system upgrade, they should let us know and reapply. For me i am not begging any visa officer to approve my application. In as much as they are doing their job, it should be justified as first come first serve. Enough of this nonsense... imagine some people are even asking questions on how to withdraw their apps, cos They system is hopelessly discouraging. They are deliberately doing what they are doing. Someone who applied in April was forgotten and one in June got reviewed. See, they should stop fooling us. If they need more documents, they should ask. If am not eligible they should say it early enough. After all, after waiting for 4months and they finally start review, it will pass through same scrutiny haba. They owe us feedback as at when due, and don't forget we were billed. If I committed a crime that got me not moving from background check to sth else and not admissible I need to be told not waiting indefinitely for sth that will never come by, guessing and feeling as if you we're sometime apprehended and konvicted before you were born. glam4444: 8 Likes |

Someone mentioned submitting as home ties, land deeds and survey. Are both necessary? I heard people submitting their deeds, but not survey. Please who has done this before should enlighten us. Which did you submit and how did it work? |

jnyuwa02:An application may be withdrawn.. Someone has mentioned it in the previous thread (please look it up). I think you write them a mail and everything else follows thereafter. The downside is that you loose the application fee. |

careerwoman: Is there an official CIC policy on it, instead of taking someone's word on it on this forum? It becomes contentious though, just when they accuse you of misrepresentation to respond in 15 days and just after you've done that, then ask to withdraw simply because its taking time. They will just slap you with a five year ban. My advice is wait. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by jnyuwa02: 6:19am On Aug 08, 2017 |
careerwoman: I just checked the official policy. You just don't loose the fees just like that. Apparently only them can determine whether you are eligible to withdraw and whether you get the fees back. You have to send an email or if you applied online, fill out an online form with certain information. They would get back to you whether you are eligible to withdraw or if you get your fees back. I would imagine that for someone that they have taken the time to do biometrics for and background check for, that person is not going to get anything back. |

mcobex: Doesn't mean automatic denial. I tire for these people giving their personal opinion when I asked for CIC's official policy on the withdrawal of an application. The official policy is yes you can withdraw. By sending them an email or if you applied online, by filling out some kind of online form with certain requested information. Apparently only them can tell if you are even eligible to withdraw and whether you get your fees back. If they determine you are eligible to withdraw, you may apply again in the future. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=741&top=23 1 Like |

lordjayabs:I really don't know the address, but from CMS/Obalende/TBS, board a bus going to Jakande or Ajah, alight at Ikate roundabout (next bus stop after elf), cross to the other side of the road. walk straight down the road, ask for Manor hall or VFS center. it's a popular building and not far from the entrance gate of the street. You will see a Stanbic or Skye ATM beside the building . Cheers!!! 1 Like |
