trexxbanks:Applied since 5th of april and to resume 5th of september, they have not even started reviewing my application, less than three weeks to resume school. already made up my mind to defer my admission till january 2018. this is frustrating and annoying, someone applied in june and has already gotten his/her TRV while someone that applied in march/april still in limbo, and yet they tell u they are currently working outside processing time and are attending to applications on a first come first served basis. 2 Likes |

Thanks Keep in mind that many have successfully defended a career change and obtained their TRV. If you really feel passionate about your new field, I will highly encourage you to go for it. Your passion will show through, even with the way you write your SOP to the VO. If its something you are doing only out of convenience, by all means realign your course to something convenient that shows a progression to what you have studied in the past. [/quote] |

CanadianNurse: Will advise you get to the airport around 11pm or some minutes to 12.... checkin time should be around 3am (I stand to be corrected).... you just have your phone charged to chat with your loved ones or have your loved ones follow you till u are finally checkedin.... won't advise booking hotel since there is cheaper alternative. 4 Likes |

jacksonyito: Hello boss. Sorry about the delay. Why not try schools like Lethbridge for scholarship. I can see you have a very high GMAT score. Kindly tell us your current activity and work experience. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by jacksonyito: 1:34pm On Aug 08, 2017 |
AAOL: will check on lethbridge tho. current activity- professional exam -CFA level 3 1st degree economics 2011. nysc 2012 to 2013. work till date - 2015- economic business analyst. guess the gap which i didnt explain could ve been partly been the cause tho |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by AAOL: 1:49pm On Aug 08, 2017 |
jacksonyito: Okay. First of all try and get your GCMS note to know the exact reason for refusal. Secondly, try and work on your SOP and explain the study gap in your profile till date. Also you can request for a letter from CFA stating you are a student in good standing and also noting the courses you have passed. Thirdly, try and include documents like pension SOA and car documents to tackle the issue of personal asset and financial status You have a very strong profile. Try and work on your documents. All the best. |

Hey guys.... I was just on my own when I had a move to just enquire further on this EE thing. So i spoke with a good friend from this thread who's apparently also putting more eggs in the basket (Studies TRV/EE). So she advised that I check my CRS score and below is what I had. If i was serious, who knows, would have been given an ITA by now. For those with plans to stay back in Canada and work, I'd advice, you try checking your CRS score and prepare for EE, you never know what you can get. For those who are yet to write English testing Exams like IELTS, you can put an assumed score, while checking your CRS, while working towards getting your IELTS. She further said, dual Intent wont hurt. While waiting for TRV, fetch another egg (EE) and put in the basket. Goodluck to all TRV hopefuls. Me inclusive 2 Likes

CanadianNurse: Please don't go to any hotel. Air Maroc is a very cheap flight, but so many people miss their flight Because of the early flights. Please, get to the airport around 11pm thereabout, you would be allowed in, weigh your bags, and do all adjustments you need to do. You would see many people waiting, and the airport Would be fairly empty, so lots of empty chairs,. Your flight is 6.45am, but checking in starts around 3am, and ends before 5 am, and it is always ROWDY. So please, just sleep at the airport, to avoid stories that touch, I would not advise you taking those cabs at 2am. 6 Likes |
