Emmane:the both of you are correct, you know, you studied for 2 years, worked for at least two years, apply and get permanent residency 1 year, then stayed in the country 4 years out of 6, apply and get citizenship the final 1 year of naturalization process. i think all these sum up to be 10 years. thats my calculation tho |

Emmane:i think it means that you must stay in canada as a permanent resident for at least 1,460 days during the six years, so also understand that in a year you must have spent at least 183 days, not the one that someone will do one year out one year in as long as it is 1460 days. so basically they want to see you every year for at least 183 days but it must be 1460 days before you apply for citizenship 4 Likes 1 Share |

yes boss, been o it since last year october. aplied for fall 2017 but my potential supervisor didn't make a quick choice on my profile cos of visa constraints he said he wanted someone who will resume sept and he know how the Nigeria/African visa stuff works saying he has a 9ja student in is group and it took him 1year+ to get visa. so i had to defer my admission application to winter as he advised. i will call him mail him and text him and i was able to get this email from him on Monday .. maziude: |

The best thing to do now would just be to carry on life like I didn't apply for visa. That's it! If it shows up or not, All Glory to God! 5 Likes |

McOsheBaba: Baba youre right, because the anxiety of waiting to know your faith alone sef might not allow you to think straight and forge ahead with your life. IMO the best thing is to just put everything in GODs hands and remove your mind from it inother for you to start making other plans x executing plan B.. hopefuls lets not allow this situation knock us down , we go dey alright last last... 1 Like 1 Share |

lonelyhrt:i think its for all international students whether undergrad, postgrad, masters, doctorate, you get to apply for permanent residency after 2 years of full time work in canada(not as a student). its when you get your PR that you start to do those calculations for 4 years and apply for citizenship. some people apply for PR even after working for over 4 years, but citizenship starts to count after you get PR. 1 Like |

McOsheBaba: A winner don't give up easily, as it is now keep doing works that keeps you busy till the Day God approves it these words are for those that believe God is the supremacy all you should believe is God have a purpose for everything if it works then GOD KNOWS WHY if not don't give up and keep trying you might not know the other chance might be a breakthrough to PR for you.God can break protocols for a child of God so don't give up. Don't compare or give up easily everything is deposited for us here in earth for prosperity so GRACE is what we all need even if your sin plenty if God have grace on you will be prosperous even a prostitute Rehab in the bible a prostitute that don't know God she heard of God's miracles she don't know God but she got that grace from God. bro grace and be patient is all for our best ok don't give up 6 Likes |

Hello Everyone. Please I submitted a visa application for Undergraduate studies. I was denied study visa and more recently a south African visa unknown to me because I had requested for a withdrawal. I mentioned that I was refused visa twice for study visa but didn't mention the South African refusal. Please I need to send a mail to the Visa officers in Accra informing them so it's added as an addition. Please which email address can I send mail to?Please!!! Thanks 1 Like |

McOsheBaba: Visa will show up. I love the passage Jnyuwa02 shared last week-"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God". Also remember that "the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry". Though it is not easy, just try to keep yourself busy with something. Learn new things and keep trusting God! 5 Likes |
