If in USA, he is screwed. A child born in marriage is automatically his child irrespective of what the DNA shows. Had it been they were not married, he could easily wriggle out of it by 1) Challenging the authority of DCSS to collect a debt that is not within its power by the Title IV-D of the Social Security Act of 1975. 2) Using the DNA to file a motion to compel the mother to identify the father of the child.
Some states are no fault state and any properties acquired during the course of the marriage is shared equally between the two parties. What state is this case in? Any property acquired before the date of the marriage cannot be shared whether there is a pre-nuptial agreement or not.

If your friend lives in Nigeria, he has solid grounds for seeking divorce because his wife definitely committed adultery by having a child for another man; and your friend can show that he finds it intolerable to live together with his estranged wife.

all he needs is the evidence of infidelity, according to your write up the child is not his so there is nothing like child support here. So he doesn't have anything to lose, he has to file for damages instead.

That law is not very applicable in nigeria. He should just throw her stuff outside. This is not the US. He has sufficient proof to prove her infidelity. And from her action,it shows she is an unrepentant fox.
On the legal process,he should institute the divorce process, once he achieves that and she goes for settlement for his properties,he should just delay it with all legal technicalities for years until she gets tired and moves on or gets struck out by the court.

I heard of a group on fb, when the originator of the group advices the men to perform a DNA test of their kids, fire and brimstone was let loose by the women on the group and the group was closed.
