You need to start playing music around him. For example in the car and in the house.

At bedtime, you can play a lullaby for him. You can find loads of really cool ones that play for hours on YouTube.

Trust me I've done all that. Still the bobo go cry once we enter church.

Mbok, come to my rescue my 8month baby refuse to crawl but if u put him to stand he will stand nd drive himself around in his walker. Should i be worry although i was told maybe he does not want to crawl before he start to walk.

He just started crying non-stop and unconsolably for hours. This is a baby that is usually very calm o. He was refusing breastmilk on top of that. Being FTP, DH and I just rushed to the hospital straight and between then and now, they have suspected and ruled out a thousand and one things. All the tests we have done have come back fine to the glory of God but they are still keeping us for observation.

Mamas, how do you do it? I'm tired and hoping I don't go from paed ward to female ward. The headache is out of this world. I was feeling sorry for myself till a cute little boy with a heavily pregnant mom was admitted in the same room. I come dey pity d woman. She said she went into false labor cuz of all d stress. God help us all, it's not was at all.

To add to my previous post. Ask the doctor to check for tonsillitis. It's fairly common in babies and one of the symptoms is that babies experience pain when swallowing milk or liquid.

The pain and discomfort from swallowing is the reason why they are cranky, upset and they refuse breast milk.

Temperature is normal. I backed him from 4am to 7am yesterday and he slept but started crying immediately I put him down. All efforts to pacify him after that failed which was why we brought him to the hospital.

They checked and that's not it. No fever or rash either. He has a mild cough and some stooling but the stooling was after he was placed on antibiotics. No vomiting.

Once Moyo cried like that. We were on our way out, dressed in all white and he was just screaming.
I tried to feed, mba.
Tried to put him to my back, mba.
I was at a loss for what to do. His father was already sweating, this was like 30 minutes high level cry o, no pause....
So I unclothed him and put him under running water, the water just poured and poured and he stopped crying, then I brought him out and he just slept off.
I think something bit him but the African woman in me thinks he didn't want us to go out that day.

The second time it happened was ear infection. He was just crying uncontrollably, google said ear infections drive them nuts, gave him ibuprofen and he slept off.

How is he now? Better I hope.

Is he teething? Did they try to massage his body to know if he'll show any sign of pain? Have they checked his throat for tonsillitis like Mama's suggested?

ok,my son hates cleaning his teeth and tongue but any day or two i miss it because of his excessive crying,i do perceive one kan perfume from his mouth.. i use soft towel for now but will buy d colgate and brush soon.

Please mothers helep me shook mouth for this matter abeg. My stomach no wan go down, I don tie clothe tie. Drank hot water at least for the first two weeks for wia. I still look at least four months pregnant.

This is the third week now and am gradually losing hope. Please advise me. I thought this pregnancy would be different because I really tied it well. Even to sleep till morning. Help!!

My son just clocked 5 months and he is yet to sit. I just want to know the process of sitting i.e like how look will it take him to starting siting on his own.

Thank you mamas. They checked everything and he seems fine. He has also called down and is playing and feeding well now. They are still observing him though. Mama zaynie, I wish I has thought of the running water or paracetamol before rushing to the hospital. D kain money wey these people don collect for dis recession, ehn! I just weak. Anyways, the important thing is LO is fine now.

My baby does this too. Just fusses for an extra day after immunization. I use to think she just got used to the excessive pampering from the day before As long as there's no fever just carry him like he wants but gradually get him used to lying on his own again. it's not easy to collect two giant needles
