yes boss, been o it since last year october. aplied for fall 2017 but my potential supervisor didn't make a quick choice on my profile cos of visa constraints he said he wanted someone who will resume sept and he know how the Nigeria/African visa stuff works saying he has a 9ja student in is group and it took him 1year+ to get visa. so i had to defer my admission application to winter as he advised. i will call him mail him and text him and i was able to get this email from him on Monday ..

I am happy for you boss.

This is also a reminder to everyone...

If your programme requires contacting a supervisor, you will need lots of patience, perseverance, persistence and above all God...

There is always a supervisor for you, but you have to locate him or her by constant reminders.

E no easy but e possible wella. If I lie ask my boss @Osemigho...

Speaking of which, Where @osemigho dey sef?

@everyone preparing, hope preparations are in order?

You can also get help for admission here tru peoples experiences to gather your own info for applying. Read up from page 0 and get more insight. Welcome on board.

If you can get the letter, it will significantly give assurance of fund availability. Besides, each of your claim should be supported with a proof. Your father's source(s) of income should also be evidenced to support his claim of transferring cash to you.

Brotherly, i know that feeling honestly mehn
.. Although i understand the fact that CIC got a heavy surge of applications this year alone which might probably explain elongated processing time for students but then least they can do is to just put up a general message on their site that they would attend to applications as soon as they can atleast that one for don calm hopefuls down a lil but for the fact that they haven't even touched some applicants application and they are not saying shii bout it even after applying early has they advised is pretty scary... Before you know it august will just fly , but oh well we have to put our trust in God and hope for the best even if its not easy... To all hopefuls lets not give just yet God almighty will come through for us least we can do is to encourage each other and not give up easily... We gon be fine BELIEVE !!!!!!!!!!!! smiley

It's advisable you wait till the gcms note is out, so you'll be sure of the exact reason given for the delay

A friend just woke me up with a testimony that he contacted a supervisor that he is willing to fund himself. And the supervisor agreed to supervise him. He filled the pre qualification form 2days ago and and this morning he was sent a mail to go and officially apply. I guessed even when you are not ask to contact supervisor maybe one need to do that just to fast track admission process.

Goodmorning my people. Most of u know I was delayed on august 3rd but still waiting to collect my passport. I plan to reapply with all documents showing very strong home ties and other needed docuents this month end or begining of next month since my admission is for winter (3rd January, 2018) My question is this; do I need to do a new medical test (having done the medical test on 28th of june n passed) and new biometrics (which I did on 29th June during my 1st application) or am I to just pay for only visa application?
Pls the gurus in the house should help me out

Bro, when I look/think about CIC trend I smile, it's only the strong minded that can pull tru this, you are on point & Aug. is zooming fast already, but then this is not a matter of giving up but that of preparing ahead of uncertainty. In all, I pray for God's grace & favor in our apps. like they always say, it's not howfar but how well.. Thanks!

You don't need another medical cos medical last 1 year (yours won't expire until 27th June 2018 ). As for the biometrics you will do another one, it's a new application so you will submit everything afresh

A friend asked me this question and I feel like throwing it into this forum for analytical advice.
He wants to apply for student visa, his tuition fees and his living expenses has been deposited into a domiciliary account in his name. The question now is that HIS SALARY ACCOUNT BALANCE HIS SLIM AND NOT SMILING.
Is it compulsory that he include this salary account statement with his application?.

I will advise he submit both and state in his SOP, sponsor's letter of financial support, affidavit of support that the fund for study is in his domiciliary account.

Well, the guy graduated with 2:2 in Agriculture. He cannot do direct Masters with 2:2. He then opts for an Advanced Diploma in Agricultural related course which is higher than the BSC but lower than Masters. He works in the airport and he has a good travel history to UK, USA and a tourist visit to Canada in the past and he has not violated any condition of the previous visa.
How can he sell this: from Agric undergraduate to Aviation work and now want to go back to Agriculture.

Error 1: According to Wikipedia, "advance diploma is lower than Bsc."

Error 2: applicant changing careers anyhow between Aviation and Agric.

I don't need any spirit to tell me that applicant is a potential migrant who is using study route as a means of achieving that. Therefore, I tick purpose of study.

My advise to applicant is get aviation course related to your job role or explore Express Entry. Thank you.

Lol. Congrats. I placed it side by side with USA. USA visa look more colorful and with passport. I don't know the trick Canada is pulling that it doesn't attach picture to its student visa.
