I can 100% agree with you. Applications are treated differently based of the country of origin. For example: a British citizen applying for a Canadian student visa will be treated fairly to a Nigerian student applying for the same visa. I am Nigerian and was born and raised here. My experience is in immigration and citizen law of different countries, having practiced in the United States ten years before returning home. Disregard my advice if you feel its bias, but they are the unadulterated truth to the best of my knowledge.[/quote] 2 Likes |

Austinpee4: Good morning my able gurus , if funs are already transferred to Canadian bank, and payslip and other work documents of sponsor provided, is it still necessary for sponsor to show six months bank statements or the prove of source of funds is ok |

CanadianNurse: Nuendo said they allowed him get through with it including other snacks. Even he didn't get an accomodation immediately, so that kept him going with some drinks he got over there. He advised to get some paracetemaol and stuff just incase. So which other message did you get after the approval on cic account? And when is one supposed to get passport at hand? I'm still to get accomodation and flight yet. I know God will provide ni. |

Dear all, if you're flying Egypt Air, ensure you check in with some snacks to sustain you on your journey and also go with lower dollar denomination as you may not enjoy the the meal on board. Na pepper dem give my wife chop o . Also, there is no free WI-FI service at the Cairo international airport incase you need to make some calls through what'sapp or messenger to your peeps back home . It's $2 per hour 7 Likes |

BRANDYAK:I'm no way near a guru but i will try to answer your question. IRCC requirement is that applicants have their tuition + a minimum of 10,000 for living expenses for a year. This evidence can be in a one time fund availability. i.e Loan proof, funds in convertible currency, scholarships, grant etc. Showing 6 months bank statement should be dependent on what your claim and if you intend to prove that you can generate funds for subsequent year(s) of program. If you already showed that you have funds for your entire program in other form, then the 6 months statement may not be necessary except you just want to show you earn money. 1 Like |

Good morning All.I appreciate everyone's contribution in the house. How do I go about applying for GCMS note as I was rejected for study permit due to 1. Purpose of Vistit and 2. Would not return to Nigeria after my Masters program. Please note that I had travelled to Canada early this year for vacation with my child (Got 5 years TV validity). SO I'm wondering where I got it wrong. Went online saw different links for GCMS note. what is the right url / link to follow. Also what is the step by step process? How much is it to order for GCMS note? Gurus please your feedback anticipated and would be appreciated. |

Asihanmi: I think 'they' say it's cheaper if you have someone who can apply for you over there in Canada. With your valid 5yrs TV, that means you should have someone to help you over there. |
