@igbowanile, you really need to reconsider this decision. Nothing good comes easy except in some cases and don't compare yourself to some other person. A lot of people were denied more than twice n they still got it. You r young and truth be told your Canada is one of the best places for young people. People earning over 600k are relocating to Canada. You were denied on financial ground, that's pretty easy to tackle.

You need to relax, if possible take time away from nairaland. Stop thinking about the present or your present job. Think about your future. Nigeria isn't totally bad but this country is really hard n it's not getting any better except you get an oil company job.

So please I beg you, try one more time and give it your best. You will get it. It can be very frustrating when you long on n see a denial. After a fall, pick yourself back up n move on. That's the spirit of a winner.

But then it's your decision to make. Wish you the very best.

You dont need to quit. Try one more time and pray about it. I agree that life moves on, but as you do, give it one last try or explore other options (EE) if you qualify.

sad sad

What is your qualifications? Do you have any work experience? Can you try the EE route if you are eligible?

Read @Bigfido's story (the link below) which he shared on the EE thread. Though, I know applying for visa is different from writing IELTS exam. But, I'm sharing his story just to encourage you not to give up and quit. The road to success is sometimes rough but please do not give up. Ask for God's direction and I pray that he will lead you on the right path.

@bigfido, please kindly grant me the permission to share your IELTS exams journey here.
Okay, will follow up on ur advice, check ur box.
Thanks

lol first bank.... they delayed mine for almost 1 n half month had to cancel the payment and transfer the money to someone in canada to help me with my tuition deposit.

Mine took about 3 weeks but that's cos there was an error from the bank. I advice you to check with your bank o. Cos when they finally redid it. It just took like that 48 hours for my dad to be debited then another 48 hours plus before my school received it.

Egypt Air allows 23kg each for the two checked bags although they can allow you go with 24kg each but anything above that would need to be reduced. I ask about paying for the difference, they seemed not interested, but told me any additional bag is $180.

You can also carry a backpack and a lady's handbag as "carry on"
