you can study any medical or science course. However judging by the way the aggregate was calculated last year, your aggregate is 59.125 which isn't enough for some competitive courses especially those in College of Medicine and it's not upto to last year's cutoff for Biochem and Micro...But don't lose hope as cutoff marks are decided based on the general performance of those that chose the course, so it may be lower this year or higher.......And concerning being able to cross from biological sciences to medical line, it's not possible to cross from any department into any course in College of Medicine, not even from one course in the College to another......

Hello, Pls I intend writing Jamb next year to choose Unilag medicine and Surgery. I have a GCE results of Maths B3 Eng B3 ChemB3 Phy B2 Bio B2. Pls is it possible to get medicine and surgery with this result, or I should just write another Waec

So it's official

The Federal Government has lifted the ban on the controversial examinations usually organised by universities in Nigeria for admission seekers after the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME).
The Federal Government had last year ordered the scrapping of post-UTME for candidates.Speaking in an exclusive interview with The Guardian in Abuja yesterday, the Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, said universities could now organise post-UTME as a pre-condition to gaining admission into universities in the country.
The minister, who however urged university authorities to make the fees for the screening affordable and not to impose huge financial burden on the parents, said: “We are going to allow universities to organise post-UTME if they want.
“We have asked them not to impose huge financial burden on the parents. The burden should not be more than what they can bear.”Adamu said that the Federal Government had stopped the scrapping of the examination to fully understand what was going on in universities, adding: “We are now wiser.”
The minister, who expressed confidence in the examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), said the management of JAMB had remitted N5 billion to the Federal Government coffers, which happens to be the highest so far in the last 40 years of the board’s existence.
He said: “Since JAMB was established more than 40 years ago, the total amount it has given government was N200 million, but in one year, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede has remitted N5 billion to government.
“The new JAMB registrar has been correcting many anomalies in the board. Within a year, he has been able to stop all the untold things that were happening there.

The best thing to do is to wait and see. We can't just rely on any negative info flying up and down... the school website is the only site that we can rely on. Till then Bro

meant to be 30mins nt 30**

then the 2.5 is to make it up to 100% which ur score will be divided by 2.

e.g. 23/40 in post utme

so 23 * 2.5 = 57.5%
divide dat by 2 and add to ur jamb/8

that makes the aggregate.

Guys I'm in a bit of a dilemma here
I chose unilag while registering for jamb, after taking it n getting 239 which plus my olevel was 59.9(using the olevel n jamb aggregate method)which wasn't enough for my desired course
I decided to change institution to uniben cos I heard they only use jamb cut off of which my score is more than enough for my chosen course
Now schools are allowed to conduct pume again..I wanna change back to unilag grin
The issue is..
1Can one re-change institution ?
2If rechangeable,I want to wait for the screening form to be out first so as to be sure unilag is really adopting post ume..hope it won't be too late then cos I believe jamb sends list of aspirants that chose each sch to them before announce sell of forms or is that not so?

Dont even know if it's possible to re-change..... All this is the ministry of Education's fault causing confusion
