I don't think u can get it on a weekend because going to alagbon to do it is like u going to a Federal Govt. office to get something urgently done which is impossible, it's applicable to medicals on a weekend as well, u can get it done mon - fri. Markab: |

Good evening, Is it possible to defer an admission two weeks into the semester? Also, what would be the fate of a person that got an approval after deferment? Thank you. |

amii131: compelling SOP and evidence carries the day and not to forget, with God's help. Did you do the mentioned and got denied? If you got denied, order GCMS notes and refire with even more compelling SOP and evidences. Good luck. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by jnyuwa02: 11:18pm On Aug 17, 2017 |
Moadejimi: Yes possible. Just be in communication with school and keep them posted on what is happening. After deferment and you got approved, is all good and dandy. You attend the term you deferred for. You can even travel to Canada and chill there weeks before the term starts. 1 Like |

Hey guys, For those who have gone through the online route: How long does it take between submission of your passport and getting it back? Do you have to pay for courier services? Please emphasize VFS Abuja or Lagos. @Maziude I'm not sure if you applied in Nigeria, but if you did, kindly weigh in. Thanks! |

DEFERMENT OF ADMISSION The actual thing i would expect anyone looking to defer an admission do is to: 1. Contact your Graduate Admin Coordinator to ask: 'What date will most likely be the deadline for your resumption after lectures have been initiated?,' while you are still waiting for a decision from CIC. 2. Ask, 'If push comes to shove and maybe you haven’t gotten a decision from CIC after this deadline, can you possibly defer your admission to Winter 2018?' .....Yes!!! We all know you can defer your admission, but hear it from them as they might even have other entry options that may come in handy. In my case, when i asked the first question, the answer was that if i can get my study permit and register before the middle or end of October, i would be allowed to still enroll for fall. the Graduate Administrator also stated that i can even get an extension of the my letter of acceptance's expiration date if i do request for it. However, if i do not get any response from CIC by the end of October i can now request for a deferment of admission. So please talk to your Graduate Admin Coordinator. He or She will love you help you out. Remember they went through rigour, processing countless applications before they even gave you the admission in the first place so they wouldn't want to just loose you as such! ...........It is well!!! .........Please dont be afraid to ask?!! it is the safest way to be clear on any doubt!! In order news, .....they that sow in tears shall reap in Joy!! Joy is around the Corner!! 14 Likes |

@ibeli0.....I used the western money globalist for students wire transfer, click on it, select school, enter your student id and fill the rest of the information, then it will give you the locked down rate for that day which expires in three days, so you have to be fast, then take it to your bank with your acceptance letter, passport data page....can't remember all, then fill form A....that's all 1 Like

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Osemigho: 6:05am On Aug 18, 2017 |
amii131: Main error: Experience + BSc in Pharmacy and you opted for UG program in chemistry. If you study this thread before your submission, I am sure you wouldn't have gone for your proposed program and still keep proving that you are overqualified for it. You will know your visa chances are very slim but not impossible. Get a graduate program in Pharmacy or try express entry. Note: These are just my personal opinions. Doesn't mean I'm correct. Shalom! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Osemigho: 6:16am On Aug 18, 2017 |
Moadejimi:. 1. Ask your department. 2. Resume to when deferred or ask your department if you can cancel deferment and resume immediately. |
