I greet everyone here. I intend applying for study permit few weeks from now. The only issue is that my sponsor has a pension fund of over Nine million naira(and another over 1.5million in his savings account), I'm quite skeptical if d pension fund would be acceptable. Pls it's kinda urgent. I need u guys to help out with necessary info. Thanks y'all |

kennynelcon: No. I applied without any pre-evaluation, but after my application was positively reviewed I had to then find a supervisor to be accepted into program. I did not have to answer that question as financial assistance was guaranteed as part of my degree. 1 Like |

ebubedrums001:Hello sir/ma Firstly i think pension fund is considered a fixed asset except your uncle is willing to liquidate it(correct me if im wrong) Secondly you uncle need to provide enough physical funds in his account with a good source i.e YOUR TUITION+10KCAD (say U of Manitoba 14kcad+10kcad living expenses Totals 24kcad) Your uncle might need to transfer some funds to you although it isn't compulsory but with recent happenings it puts you on the safe side to have part of your funds given to you by your sponsor Hope this helps, Take care 1 Like |

Hello experts and beneficiaries on this forum. I am a newbie here, a final year student about to write final semester exam for B.Sc Degree in Nigeria here. I will like to pursue higher education in Canada and needs concise information. Please note that, I'm aware similar issue could have been discussed on this thread in some time past, but with how lengthy the treads are, it is not easy to read all through, hence I will appreciate to have some summary to start with as I read more to get updated. Thank you all ahead of your help! |

Airene: Sorry for the refusal. Just prepare well next time and reapply. Do not give up. Was your upfront medicals updated as "passed"? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by Nobody: 6:45pm On Aug 18, 2017 |
The upfront medical did not read pass. After they finished checking my background the refusal tin was the next. |

@Airene, don't be sad, you will get it next time, share your profile so that people can help you out to check the loop holes, then order for your gcms note. |
