safarigirl: I am unapologetic in my bias towards English based players. Essentially because i speak from a stand point of first hand knowledge, not hear say. I can not even really say what i would like to say for breach of confidentiality sometimes. I will watch at least 35 live games every year attend at least another 25 youth games and attend at least 50 training sessions at youth level and senior level. Have multiple conversations and contacts with coaches at least 60% of EPL clubs as well as championship clubs. I speak with a few premiership managers well actually not more than 3 and i have lost count of players agents that I speak with all within England. So i take on board these many but informed opinions that determine market trends in English football, and advise accordingly. This year I have been to Europe about 4 times that was Lisbon, Eindhoven, Frankfurt and Dortmund on account of football, so i can not speak with much confidence about Europe in addition , I do not know one German Manager or senior coach. But know quite a few in Portugal and Holland. I visit Nigeria on average twice a year and cram everything into those trips including football, and going to Warri for Owo and starch with fresh fish. Does that explain my supposed biased yet informed position. And what are the facts you refer too Furthermore, I believe that the EPL is the MOST competitive and physically taxing league in Europe. Is it the best league that is open to debate. From that standpoint, I look at football and equate players on that level field of performance. Many players come to the EPL and flop but not too many top players leave the EPL and go too Spain. Germany, France and then flop if any at all. Finally I rated Danny Shittu very highly when he played and he was born in Nigeria, so you are wrong about me rating only English born players. LOL 1 Like |

Ndidi played from start to finish in their last two games.Their 4-3 loss against Arsenal and their 2-0 win against Brighton.Yet,Rohr might still start Onazi ahead of him.Our midfield will determine whether we defeat or lose to Cameroon.I won't like Onazi to start after his failed move to Birmingham City. |

Nigeria Rohr – List For Cameroon Clash Will Be Out Tomorrow, Expect New Names Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr says the list of players called up for the World Cup 2018 Qualifiers against Cameroon will be released tomorrow. Rohr made this known during an interview in Kano shortly after CHAN Eagles booked their spot at next year Africa Nations Championship with a 2-0 win over Benin Republic. The Franco-German coach said the list of players have been submitted to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) who are going to make it official tomorrow. He confirmed he has called up some players for the first time when he was asked if there are new players in the list of players for the back to back games against Cameroon. Scoop gathered from Owngoalnigeria.com has it that Hapoel Be’er Sheva forward Anthony Nwakaeme is one of the new names on the list for the September 1st and 4th clash against Cameroon in Uyo and Yaounde respectively. -source owngoalnigeria |
