The amount required depends on the size of your family but it's from CAD 12,500 (for singles) to as much as CAD 35,000. (For a family of 7.I think)

I think he's asking about the total expenses to be incurred from scratch and not just settlement funds.

To add to the info above, you will spend an average of N450k-N700k to cover cost of IELTS, ECA, Medicals, PCC, Courier services (before & after PPR), PR Application fee, PR card etc. The exact amount really depends on ur family size, no.of IELTS attempt, PNP vs direct ITA and a few other peculiar factors.
Note: Flight ticket cost not included.

Cheers.

Yaaaaay... I made it to part 2. This ministry is bearing great fruit o. Weldone seniors

Aor: July 5
Medical passed: July 21
NA/IP1- I missed the change so no date.
ADR: August 1 (RPPR Fee)
Ip2: August 18 ( When I noticed)

I stated earlier in part one that I have a cute addition to my family last week Friday, should I just wait for PPR mail since I'm now in Ip2 to notify Cic or i should still go ahead and raise a CSE?
Don't really understand how Ip1 or 2 background check works, so I hope this is Ip2
Please advice cos I don't wanna long things for myself.

Congratz sis

Thank you @40manlappy for creating the new thread as has been requested.I just got on this wagon two weeks ago and was enamoured by the sheer hardwork the veterans put in responding to every query and educating us all.Currently preparing for my Ielts which I intend to take by September. Will start my ECA evaluation next week as per payment and requesting for transcript. I just hope there won't be delays on my school's part or the evaluation body because Ielts has a definite timeline for results.
Good luck to us all on this journey.

Please explain the bolded part for me.

However, if i understand that part correctly, ielts result is valid for 2 years, I don't think any reasonable school or assessing body will delay for 2 years in giving result smiley except ICAS ofcourse undecided

Hello People,

I have a peculiar situation. I had a UK visa I applied for and was denied, but I appealed the decision and was subsequently issued the visa, do I need to mention this in my application?
