Lte band has nothing to do with data friendliness. It all depends on your network provider. Luckily, Glo is a data friendly network, plus data roll-over, so you have nothing to worry about. So I leave my phone permanently on 4G when browsing or not

Alternatively, you could get a mifi that supports a wide range of lte bands so that you can switch network providers as you wish
