If you were asked to upload it to your account, then you should do so to avoid stories.

Simply scroll down to the page of your correspondence, you will see "view my submitted application". Once the page opens, scroll down to supporting documents and you will see a column to upload.

Please quickly do that NOW!

There was and there is still nothing like upload under my supporting documents since I received the request via email. Hence the reason why I submitted through email (the medium through which I got the request) and CSE. I also sent them a technical issue report with a screen shot showing that there isn't any upload tab under my supporting documents section.

From what is clear to me, it's an interview.
Go prepared, brace yourself well with possible answers regarding your application; purpose of visit and so on.
Just go as though your are going for an American visa interview.
