jnyuwa02: Hardly will any VFS staff say anything in this light. They will just take an applicant biometrics irrespective of which case. Besides, if CIC requested a new biometric, it will come with a letter from them. VFS will use the instruction on the letter to proceed. I'm strongly of the opinion that the agent is trying to play a quick one. The application most certainly have been refused. The agent only want to have things under his/her control. If it was an online application, it makes it very easy for the agent to conceal this issue and play over the applicant's ignorance of the procedure. Biometrics and new account statement request couldn't have come at the same time. Applicant's admissibility would usually come first(biometric stage) before an officer reviews the other documents( supporting documents review). Something is not right. The person in context should simply ask questions about his/her application to find out what is really going on. 7 Likes |

I'm feel defeated already. Submitted my student visa permit application on Thursday and I just found out this morning in a separate envelope that the guy that works at the VFs office omitted my sponsor's letter. I don't think I stand a chance now and I don't know what to do. Im literally crying right now. |

On the check list, where they asked have you ever been refused a Visa or permit to enter Canada... I will tick *Yes* My question now is if Yes, please provide details... What should I put? should I put the general reason for my refusal or the reason the VO gave in my gcms note? |

vikmeek: Sir/Ma, Let your uncle send the fund to your account and make sure you indicate the reason for the transfer in your SOP and let your mum stand as a co sponsor with whatever she has in her account provided it isn't a lump sum. Let your uncle write a strong sponsor letter indicating why he's being a co sponsor with your mum with a pledge with your mum of seeing your through with your education. Mind you, you will need your SOA as well since you are working and your payslip as well. Kindly try to tackle any room for insufficient funds because that's where the naughty VOs will want to peach their tent moreover if your Application is error free. With the little I have said, I believe you should know better by now. But I will still help you extend your help to @Austinpee4 & @Maziude. They are very experienced but I think they are getting busier by the day. Abeg Pls him/her reason the matter. 1 Like |

Austinpee4: How do you know if such a letter requesting biometrics didn't go to the agent himself? I really don't see any reason why biometrics and request for new evidence cannot come at the same time. It's CIC you are dealing with that has reputation for defying its own established rules and protocols for example, issuing people with TRV even without a police certificate. Go figure! |
