Paying fees depends on your school, most schools would ask for a deposit, that you have to pay, thou it's not compulsory to pay that before submitting your application for visa, some schools require this deposit to give you your final admission letter. Whichever case, it's always adviceable to pay at least part of your fees to show the V.O that you have adequate finance.

Back to funds, either you pay the fees before u submit your application or not, the V.O would be concerned about seeing the inflow and outflow of the account, it would also be concerned about seeing u have adequate finance to cover your fees + room and board and this total amount depends on what is written on your admission letter by the school.

Remember if you pay some or all, the V.O has lesser amount to check for. Thou, it's not compulsory to have all the money in your account but it's good to show source of how you intend funding this either through investments you have that can easily be converted to cash or expected future payments and etc.

A good cash flow in your account statement would help a lot.

For the Toefl, most schools in Canada do not require this, some ask, if you research further, this schools might waive it for you. So again check the schools you want to apply to, if they don't need it, don't write it and save your money.

Obviously, your transcript is key, you need it for your admission processing.

Again, you need to get admission first before u think of Visa Processing issues.

I see your docs was kinda fair with relation with your app.
But did you indicate you had relatives in Canada? This is because you said part of the delay was cus of family ties in Canada.
Another thing, You'd have to put work in your SOP since that would be catchy for all visa officer considering the fact that PGD hasn't been going well lately especially for Sept intake.

I am a nurse with Bsc & RN also, applied for trv & was denied days ago, don't know the reason yet though, applied for Pgc enhanced nursing practice clinical & critical, would have loved to do it as a masters because have got good grades but all masters in nursing in Canada are not open to international nurses except certificate courses, that's why I opted for Pgc, and I got to know about SOP after I joined this thread, would have stated it as a major reason for choosing Pgc in nursing & not masters, so I am waiting to get my note on why I was refused in other to know if I should reapply or not, feel free to ask me questions.

No you don't but you need to show your one year school fees and one year living expenses which is 10000cads plus school fees. for the next year, you will need to show you will be capable to have the both ie the 10000plus school fees. Your sponsor can proof this with a payslip or business documents. It is advisable you pay fees and transfer living expenses to your account and inform Visa officer

I asked a question sometime back and nobody had a clear answer for me. I wanted to know whether on the police certificate, whether it states issued in Lagos or the state a person is doing the clearance from. Some said the only place it states on their clearance is Lagos. While I received mine sometime back. I filed in Jos, Plateau. It had to be sent to Lagos. But the clearance says issued in Jos, Plateau when all was said and done. You learn something new everyday. Happy Sunday!

No dear, you can't use the same soa.. Besides if you submitted original how come you still have another copy?
Please get a new SOA atleast not more than a month old... Last 6months

am RN holder going for BSc. I've did alot of research and it seems is difficult to consider international applicants for nursing degree. some of the school said I should go for non nursing electives and that wouldn't be good for me considering age. I just needed to upgrade from Rn-Bsc.

AND I don't know how it will be going for practical nursing (another diploma).

please colleague any suggestions for me sir/ma ?
